    Metrolinx: Other Items (catch all)

Well that's what Metrolinx loves, dont you know? (As evidenced by the 3 Eglinton Stations we'll have in the GTA).

Spaces (former WE Charity HQs, 345 Queen St E, TriAxis, 3s, Kohn Partnership)

I don't think there's any kind of retrofit that would save this branch, it just needs to be closed altogether in favour of another location that's closer to the waterfront.

    Toronto 66 Third Street Shelter | 20.5m | 4s | City of Toronto | Montgomery Sisam

To be honest, I completely understand the residents concerns with this shelter. New Toronto had a significant problem with drugs and prostitution in the late 90's through to mid-2000s and it tooks years and years of various forms of intervention to rid the neighbourhood of the issue. The city...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Just want to make sure the public is ready on the grand opening day! Truthfully in all honestly, I want nothing more for the LRT to be successful. The TTC just makes it difficult to make that seem like that's going to be a difficult thing to have unfold. We'll see for sure very soon.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Who wants to take a guess at what type of delays we'll see with this line on it's grand opening on it's first day? Take your pick between the following: Emergency Alarm Police/Fire Investigation Signal Problem Mechanical Issue Trespasser at Track Level Vehicle Intrusion (Bonus) Personally i'd...

    Toronto 8 Elm | 218.2m | 69s | Reserve Properties | Arcadis

I think they're just waiting for it to get to a John St level, featuring a giant sinkhole to open up before they finally action something.

Spaces (former WE Charity HQs, 345 Queen St E, TriAxis, 3s, Kohn Partnership)

Agreed, the city still needs to find a way to bring another branch closer east of the South Core area/or Waterfront East area.

    Toronto Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 2) | 283.6m | 85s | Menkes | a—A

There's knockout panels and a space provisioned for PATH through Prestige (Phase 1 of Pinnacle's development), which would then cross over Freeland St to connect to Menkes insipidly planned Phase 2 buildings. So it wouldn't be taking the route you highlighted above.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Surprise, surprise; another thing that Metrolinx isnt transparent about. I can only imagine the troves of information and controversy that would be unleashed if they were ever breached.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Of course there's a probability, and that probability is 0%.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Let's continue to clown show into 2026, it's not opening this year.

    Toronto Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 2) | 283.6m | 85s | Menkes | a—A

Ughh I hate to see the plan proceed as is; it's abysmal, lacklustre, and soulless. Till this day I still hate massive "master-planned" communities, but if it were an option i'd rather have Pinnacle develop this prime site because Menkes isnt even trying to do anything that's even slightly...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Basically very minimal/next to no effect on reducing 401 congestion. Any reduction would be quickly replaced by induced demand.
  14. A

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I think the problem most of us here have (the one's who are complaining about the speed) is that when you've spent billions to upgrade a line to have better and more reliable transit, only to operate in such a way that doenst fully maximize the potential. It's akin to buying an electric...

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

Well I mean, the city pretty much does controlled concrete chipping along this stretch every other day. Glad they finally realized that this stretch is deteriorating like crazy and woke up to decide to action something. . But the fact that we're going to have to wait up to 15 years for a full...

    Eastern Avenue Bridge/DVP Interchange

Hallelujah. I don't get why the city is so inconsistent with the barriers. I thought we were going to end up with something useless like this:
  17. A

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Well I mean, there's a lot of things that one can draw conclusions on based on how the TTC writes up the service schedule. Other things will become apparent once we see the line in action (ie: is the TTC still intent on their idiotic 10km/h rule at signalized intersections, special trackwork...

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I can assure you, it's not the reason for Don Valley.

    Hamilton 354 King Street West | 82.71m | 26s | Vrancor Development | NEUF

More Vranich drab, this looks incipid.

    VIA Rail

The progress of this project is indeed laughably slow, the fact that it's going to take 3 years to do this is....pathetic to say the least: The scope of the work includes the demolition of a portion of the existing structure and the construction of state-of-the-art facilities, the construction...
