I watched two of the "curved" beams being craned up by one end and they curved even more until the far end left the ground and then they gradually straightened. They are now in place vertically in the centre of the Bathurst Street side. I think when the remaining "curved" beams are vertically...

The girders are not actually permanently curved, just not properly supported horizontally on the ground. When installed vertically this afternoon they were perfectly straight.

Don't often get to see the head of one of these up close. Right outside my window 14 floors up!

That is one humongous mobile crane lifting panels of bricks cut from the facade of the north side. Makes the one on the south side look like a toy!

Am I reading this right? There doesn't appear to be condo towers planned on top of the two entrances anymore.

Did Friday's windstorm actually topple the first HVAC unit on the left! There used to be four of them in a row (see my previous photo above). Safety concerns?

At the moment those large naked HVAC units on the roof are spoiling the lines of an otherwise handsome building. Can I assume that they will eventually be screened from view in some way? Hope so!
