    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

My sister stayed at a Vancouver airport hotel that was like that. She said the cigarette smoke was so thick in the hallways and common areas, she couldn't breath. Refugees were smoking everywhere. And there was kids playing with the elevator like it was a toy every time she went to use...

    Chinatown

Hopefully they are cozy cafes opened past 6 pm. I'm not a fan of these modern airport lounge looking grab and go style cafes that have opened in last few years. I like to sit and relax and enjoy my latte in a ceramic cup.

    Hamilton International Airport

That's good to know! Canada is too expensive to travel in. I'm going to Vancouver in June, my nephew is getting married. Five nights in a cheap three star hotel downtown Vancouver is costing me $3500!

Homelessness on GTA Transit (catch all)

Yep. Also they are a huge fire risk . As we saw during the COVID lockdowns when the city used hotels as shelters. Both Novotel and Bond place had fires. I know Kitchener and Guelph lost hotels when they were intentionally set on fire by the homeless living there. These people are extremely...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Similar situation with the migrants. They don't want to move out of the hotels we put them in. My friend works at a hotel that has asylum seekers, they have caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages, you and i and every other taxpayer will have to pay for. Even though crime is...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

The homeless population has really grown out in the suburbs where I live. It's everywhere. I take the GO train to Kitchener, lots of homeless there too, along with Guelph, even smaller towns like Acton has a homeless encampment near the tracks. There is no place for them to go. The...

    Hamilton International Airport

Right now enough Canadians are going to Detroit and Buffalo for cheap flights, the discount airlines don't need to come to Canada. If it weren't for the Canadians getting cheap flights, half the hotels and restaurants would close in Buffalo lol My cousin is flying her family out of...

    The Weather

You would think that, but Amazon does it all the time. They make millions a year selling non-certified crap! You can't fight the richest company in the world. A major Wall Street Journal investigation recently revealed that Amazon has listed “thousands of banned, unsafe, or mislabeled...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Good start, but i still think a full ban on electric bikes would be even better and safer. Trains aren't built for motorized vehicles.

Wearing cheap glasses is a good way to destroy your eyesight. You need a welding helmet with Shade 12 or higher. Or glasses verified by AAS https://eclipse.aas.org/eye-safety

    Canadian airline industry (general discussion)

That's exactly why I booked Porter for my flight to Vancouver in June. I would have saved a lot of money with Flair, but i don't want to risk it.

    Restaurant Comings & Goings

Buffalo Wild Wings also failed because of the pricing. Thy are known for cheap drinks and large beer selection in the US. Here in Ontario they got to deal with the Beer Store and LCBO cartels. So no cheap happy hour deals, and a very limited selection of craft beers to choose from.

Downtown Grocery Store List (current + proposed)

Because the food is terrible! My mom had lunch there once, she said her sandwich awful, and also bought a box of pastries that were dry, like day olds. ( probably were) But they looked amazing in the display case. Pustaeri's is all style no substance. I've been to Assembly a few...
