So what's the update on this project? It's now the end of May and construction hasn't begun. What's the hold up? I use this corridor every day and the traffic is terrible, the sooner we get this constructed the better. Anyone know when construction is set to begin for the mavis phase?

I think there might be some sort of new standard for paving. I noticed on Dixie just south of the 401 the other day that there is an asphalt base, thick concrete centre and then asphalt top. Basically they're making a pavement oreo! Could be that they are doing something similar on the 401...
