This is totally off topic, but if you travel much at all to the US you should look into Nexus. I recently traveled there and pre-clearance + security took about 5 minutes. The normal line looked like it had a few hundred people in it. Here's the link...

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Interesting on construction of a bridge over the GO tracks in Kitchener: http://www.570news.com/2014/07/02/politics-stalling-reconstruction-of-margaret-avenue-bridge/ Delaying construction, I'm assuming that they need to know whether it will be double tracked or not

Looks like the new Highway 7 won't actually start in 2015. Pushed back to 2016/2017 - what a shocker http://www.therecord.com/news-story/4441506-highway-7-expansion-won-t-start-until-2016-leaked-document-suggests/

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Unfortunately it sounds like she's not announcing a time frame. You have to think there's a lot of work on the tracks that need to be done before this is realistic. Edit: I've been proven wrong, she's said by 2016.

Premier Wynne is in Waterloo right now and is apparently announcing all-day two-way service between Waterloo and Toronto as per a CTV news reporter's tweet: @MarcVenemaCTV Premier Wynne about to announce two-way, all-day GO train service between Waterloo Region and Toronto

That's correct. But the thought was if the budget gets tight, do they do some at grade interchanges. I say either do it fully, or don't do it

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

Please no. If they're going to do it, they need to do it. Otherwise just upgrade the current highway 7. The at grade changes for the Hanlon were supposed to be temporary, but that clearly didn't work out.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

There's also a gap on Lakeshore West, heading eastbound from Aldershot. On weekdays a train leaves at 4:36pm (getting to Union at 5:41) and then not again until 5:31pm (getting to Union at 6:41). That's the gap that I was most looking forward to filling, as for a 7 o'clock hcokey/baseball game...

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

I would probably agree, but the question is how long until those happen?
