    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

It is true that other stuff (the corruption re Greenbelt and other development stuff) is FAR worse BUT the plane is easy for 'Mr or Mrs Everyperson" to understand and get pissed off by while they wait for the bus that fails to arrive or pay for the gas to fill their car which is only bought by...

    Unwin Ave - Undriveable

I was, of course, not suggesting that Unwin should not be fixed up only pointing out that there is a recently resurfaced bike trail close by.

    St Lawrence Market

The work re-laying the brick (paver) sidewalks on Front between (at least) Church and Sherbourne is going well. Mostly done between Church and Jarvis and moving next week to the blocks east of Jarvis. Most of these pavers were laid in 2011 and 2012 when work was done on Front and it was about...

    Unwin Ave - Undriveable

Though I think they have had a snow dump there before, this year the snow pile in the Forestry Yard on the south side of Unwin east of the Sports Field (between Unwin and the Martin Goodman) is MUCH larger and its melting is certainly increasing the amount of water in an already wet area - as...

Looks good in person too. The bollards are still 'raw' and presumably awaiting their chrome condoms.

Yes, where the stairs used to go down to the bus bays. - I forgot that was Platform 3 too. I used that exit quite often.

Not where the island is shown in middle of Yonge but you could be right that it's the bike track one on The Esplanade

Platform 3 is the one accessed from the doors east of the Great Hall adjacent to the toilets.

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

Though Hydro (and TTC and City) are slow to remove old poles and equipment, we should remember that if a pole has any 'attachments' then the pole owner needs to nag the attachment's owner to remove it first. Also, though pole removal is important the installation of new poles is undoubtedly...

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

To Hydro a week is a normal person's month or more! Somewhere above someone was obsessing about the old wooden Hydro poles on Queens Quay at Rees/Robertson. I asked WT and they replied as follows: " "Thank you for reaching out to Waterfront Toronto and for sharing your concerns. For questions...

The Municipal511 site has this info on the roadwork NORTH of the rail berm. They appear to have permission to install an island in Yonge St!

Indeed, I think the platforms @ Union actually start at 3 for reasons I forget. (Is it that they counted the two subway platforms??)

    Toronto Ontario Line: Distillery District Station | 7m | 1s | Metrolinx | HDR

I must say I think that making 'official announcements' on private services like Facebook, X or, god forbid, TruthSocial is not a good trend.

    Toronto Ontario Line: Distillery District Station | 7m | 1s | Metrolinx | HDR

Where did you get that idea? I guess from Metrolinx! Odd way for them to announce this change!

    Toronto The Whitfield | 130m | 39s | Menkes | Giannone Petricone

It is a pretty decent building, though the mechanical box could be FAR better. Being adjacent to the ghastly Time and Space actually makes it seem even better.
