    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess, because I love it.

    Toronto Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

    It's flagship for Concord standards.

    Toronto One Bloor West | 308.6m | 85s | Tridel | Foster + Partners

IMO, the only time CIBC square might look nicer is at dusk. That's when those buildings look amazing.

Toronto The Charles at Church | 152.7m | 47s | Aspen Ridge | BDP Quadrangle

The white bottoms of the balconies really killed this building IMO.

    Toronto One Bloor West | 308.6m | 85s | Tridel | Foster + Partners

At times I think this building is cursed: https://www.cp24.com/local/toronto/2025/09/08/worker-seriously-injured-at-site-of-toronto-highrise-under-construction/

    Toronto Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

I thought the crowns of the buildings were supposed to have those flashy lighted tops

    Toronto One Bloor West | 308.6m | 85s | Tridel | Foster + Partners

It feels like we've been stuck at this stage for a long time. Feel like very little progress has been made in months. I guess it's because it's a mechanical floor?

    Toronto Hullmark Centre | 167.94m | 45s | Tridel | Kirkor

A friend of mine went to the closing. She waited like an hour outside in line to get in the store, just to say a few bucks on some groceries. 🤔

I got on the eastbound 401 on ramp from the Allen Express Way a few days ago and it's crazy how much that area of DT stands out now. I love the fact that the second tallest building in the city is going to be at the north end of DT. It just brings so much more balance to the skyline and making...

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 351.85m | 106s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Funny because if you read my comments above, if I were an actual resident of this building I would want a balcony.

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 351.85m | 106s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

The previous rendering was far superior IMO. I think for this version, a lot depends on how the balconies turn out. So far for me, they are too big and taking away from nice cladding that would give the building a better look. I'm waiting to see some of the balconies to get finished in order to...

    Toronto One Bloor West | 308.6m | 85s | Tridel | Foster + Partners

I get all that, I'm simply saying, for a company to be so proud and pump up the fact it hit the 300m mark, you would think they would have done everything possible to get to the highest height they were allowed. Especially since is Tridel were talking about.

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

Sounds like you're talking about the Eglinton LRT.
  14. C

    Toronto One Bloor West | 308.6m | 85s | Tridel | Foster + Partners

I'm a little surprised Tridel didn't try and go for the higher approved height seeing as they're really hyping of the fact the building is 300m.

    Toronto One Bloor West | 308.6m | 85s | Tridel | Foster + Partners

If you ever watched videos of youtube tourist in Toronto, many of them make that same mistake.

    Toronto One Front | 170.86m | 49s | Larco | a—A

Lets hope this thing doesn't get built, or at least for another 10-15 years

    Toronto Concord Sky | 300.2m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox

I'm glad that we have the "bragging rights" but at the same time...when you're talking about 1 meter does anyone really notice? It's not like tourist look at the building and say "that looks about 299 meters. One short of a supertall",

    Toronto The HUB | 258.46m | 59s | Oxford Properties | Rogers Stirk Harbour

I posted a while back in this thread that I have two friends that work in the industry. Both were mostly working from home. Now both are being told they will need to go into the office at least 4 days if not 5.

    Toronto 23 Toronto Street | 299.04m | 88s | Goband Investment | SvN

I doubt you'll ever see buildings with much brick or stone anymore. The best you can hope for is cladding that resembles that.
