    Woodbine Centre

Its such a poorly done renovation like the rest of the mall. I went to see Gran Turismo there a few weeks ago, while getting popcorn there were some workers on scaffolding removing masking tape from the ceiling lights as it seems they just sprayed the ceiling black and still managed to get...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

No pics but I can confirm that they completed final paving of the street and bike lanes on the eastbound section between Islington and Ardwick. The end is coming in sight. They are also hustling and made surprisingly good progress on the most behind section between Jayzel and Weston rd.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

With the construction of the stevenson stop, metrolinx has made a new signalized entrance along finch to the mall, but it appears that they are also keeping the two existing entrances as right in right out only. Seems a bit excessive to have 3 entrances within 200m, I suppose eventually this...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I would guess the biggest delay is in the culvert at Lindy Lou Park west of weston road as that is the most behind right now. They said in the news that section had a lot of complex utilities under it, I think there's a creek under it, they were still playing around that section the other day...

I think eventually they are going to fix the waterfront trail at Beachfront Park that washed out and re-route it back there https://letstalkpickering.ca/beachfrontpark

    Vaughan SXSW | 108.75m | 33s | Primont | BDP Quadrangle

Recently drove by this site, no pic but they finally installed a tower crane after excavating for the past 2 ish years

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

On the opposite end I think if we can create a large retail or kind of a mini mall in the base of a building and make the building itself this centralized shopping center, why not have a super large retailer at the base of a building such a wallmart, costco, or canadiantire? Some of these strip...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I think with the new changes to MTSA's there will potentially be more opportunities for increased density with developers assembling back-lotted houses along finch, in addition to the plazas and strip malls. Also I wonder if we will see more tower in the park in fills as well.

Deja vu, demolition v2.0 this lowes building is only 11 years old. Original Labatts brewery built in 1970. Closed in Nov 2005 and demolished in 2007. Lowes was constructed in 2012, opened early 2013 and closed Jan 2020, demolished now 2023. Photo by Lucas Oleniuk/Toronto Star via Gretty Images...

    Pickering 640 Liverpool Road | ?m | 3s | Liverpool Road LP | Cassidy + Company

It appears they added a parcel and changed the development proposal from an earlier version where they lost the LPAT appeal https://corporate.pickering.ca/WebLink/0/edoc/181859/November%206,%202017.pdf...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I thought I saw somewhere in one of the documents that they may also consider a station on the north side where the commercial units are. I also believe in the history books there used to be some sort of station there as well. Edit: here is the old one looks like it was just a flag station...

    Toronto One Bloor West | 308.6m | 85s | Tridel | Foster + Partners

I wonder if there is any coincidence between the recent height refusal and this (just having fun coming up with speculation haha) Nice progress on this building nonetheless, can't wait to see it come up in the skyline.

The Albion Centre (RioCan, ?s, ?)

There are a lot of no name shops but also a decent number of anchors: crappy tire, no frills, shoppers lcbo, beerstore mcdonalds, tims, etc and they are all decently busy. I would assume they are keeping the mall, there is so much space around the mall that they can develop easily, the parking...
