That glass is super impressive. I don't know the correct terminology but usually you see distorted images/reflections in large panes like this or slight waves but these ones are pristine and the reflections are picture perfect! You definitely know big money was spent on the glass for the retail...

Isn't the contract for Billy Bishop supposed to run out soon and the city is supposed to reclaim that land? I remember reading something about that. I like the idea of a new stadium there and a new park and entertainment district. They should just hold out at Skydome until then.

I had tickets for BTS at Skydome for last June but the pandemic happened and ruined those plans. BTS would never do the ACC it's far too small. Skydome is the only venue in Ontario that could host a group such as BTS. Acts like them would end up at BC Place in Vancouver then.

But what about the concerts? We will lose all stadium concerts if we lose Skydome. :( If they build a new stadium I really hope it has some sort of a retractable roof and similar capacity.

When they get the green light to start building above grade how quickly do you think this will start rising? Do they have all the structural steel girders off site somewhere nearby ready to go?
