From CCxA's instragam: Loooove those brick pavers!
  4. Patch

This one is actually quite stunning inside. Tour found here:
  5. Patch

    Toronto T3 Sterling Road | 52.52m | 11s | Hines | DLR

My only gripe with this project is this section that wraps around to block the southern views of the MOCA.. Feels quite claustophobic and could have done without this section altogether.
  6. Patch

Toronto Maple House at Canary Landing | 89.61m | 26s | Dream | COBE Architects

Permanent! They're shown in a bit more detail in CCxA's landscape renderings.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Phase 2 of Bartlett-Havelock-Gladstone Cycling Connections (from College St to Peel Ave) is progressing. Public Drop-In Event is tonight (April 3 5:30PM). Feedback Form open until April 17, 2023. There's quite a bit of information on the options that I don't have the time to summarize - so...

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

From Batay-Csorba's instagram: "Excited to share first images of our Mirvish Village Kitchen ceiling mock-up."
  9. Patch

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Good news! Pinch point gone :) Also looks like some new permanent curb coming to the south of the Havelock/Bloor intersection
  10. Patch

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I just wish they had incorporated these more smoothly with the recent turning lane they added at Havelock... it cuts a bit too much into the turning lane Also the "gap" between the ramp and reflective bollards isn't particularly the safest. Not sure why they don't move this closer to the ramp.
  11. Patch

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Agreed. That wood side looks particularly unfinished/temporary. Hopefully it's just a delay in materials? What they showed in the renderings was a bit more... elegant
  12. Patch

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Upgrades at the intersection of Bloor/Havelock are finally being installed. Unfortunately the last time I took this route, the road quality on Havelock between Bloor/Dewson was so bad that it almost made the southbound lane unrideable... ☹️
  13. Patch

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

This route visual helped me understand:
  14. Patch

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

I'm seeing that Markham St and the east-west driveway are being marketed as "pedestrian-oriented" streets. Anyone know if we are going to see actual restrictions on vehicular access? Or mostly just traffic calming?
  15. Patch

533 College St (@ Euclid, Akelius, 4s, renovation, WZMH)

As much as I hate Akelius... this reno is really a 10/10. Love how the placement of the rooftop pergola matches up with the water tower. A couple more pictures I found here.
  16. Patch

    Toronto Via Bloor | 138.37m | 46s | Tridel | a—A

Is that the lobby behind the columns? Should have been a no-brainer to have retail or a cafe directly facing the parkette here...
