    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

TBH you can't get around things like a slow driver, stopped bus, or illegally stopping uber if you only have 1 lane. Sorry, I was being a bit pedantic. The rush hour zones I'm used to cover the AM and PM rush, even on the side streets. Also, if you have a disabled parking permit these are 1...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Annoyingly enough, I noticed once again on a commute I occasionally take with GO (that involves a line transfer) the amount you're actually charged is higher than the website price! The people on the phone confirmed you'll have to tap twice at union when transferring trains, though the station...

Which lanes in the city only ban parking for 1 hour a day? (per peak period)

Homelessness on GTA Transit (catch all)

The city is spending almost $800 MILLION on the homeless, I can't imagine the cost to do things properly.

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

My personal experience confirms this tbh. Going on the 110 sections people drive the same speed as before. I say way more pepple going 20 over in an 80 than 20 over in a 110!

Homelessness on GTA Transit (catch all)

I don't totally agree, I remember trains being stopped for 20+ mins at bay once and I had to wait until the constables came and arrested the person who caused the incident. OTOH I do also remember seeing police come on other occasions. Tow trucks are motivated by profit and a lot of the guys...

Homelessness on GTA Transit (catch all)

I don't get why the subway police don't get the ability to have red/blue lights and run reds so that thousands don't have to wait longer during subway delays.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I don't think I've ever seen that in Canada? especially since it'll force everyone to cross the road on 100% of trips. The only place I can think of with pedestrians in the centre is highway 7 over the 400

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Do we realistically think people will do that?

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Went to drop off a package on Kipling, noticed the fire truck used the centre lane to drive past the gridlock. Wonder what measures can help accomplish that if the centre lane is removed?

Not Toronto but this area has been like this for 3+ years in Ajax. What idiot came up with this

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

What's the issue? Also, I'm more sad 2252 wasn't shuttling people to Bathurst like in 2022. I yearn for the sound of the gutless detroit diesel

Sorry some photos are duplicates, the site is running extremely slow for the last month for me and errors out whenever I click edit or even post.

Doubt they will properly repair it as this is the usual standard! I couldn't find many photos of the university ave bike lanes so I went to take some photos today! I'm curious what the lane on the left is for as it seems more like a parking area

No ALRV sadly, wonder where they hid it.

Did anyone go to the Hillcrest open house today?

    Shabby Toronto

Not sure if this counts, but I noticed a shut off valve at a major intersection exactly where bikes would go was cracked and the cover was missing. The city took a month to "fix" the issue. "FIXED"

    Hamilton Beasley Park Lofts | ?m | 30s | Stinson

seems weird to do this decades after it closed, and several years into a development proposal....

Yeah, though the fleet has been growing continuously

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Sorry, it's late on a Sunday night, I meant to put quotes. I don't see why a multi use path cannot be added here? It doesn't even have a sidewalk despite there being tons of space.
