    Pickering Airport (Transport Canada/GTAA, Proposed)

Lmao I used to fly there, I personally can attest there is no space! The neighbours are unhappy with Cessnas flying around there I can’t imagine the politics of adding jets if you had a big enough space! GO is going to be what, 20 years behind their original electrification target and from...

    Pickering Airport (Transport Canada/GTAA, Proposed)

What is the benefit of closing more GA airports? Also YTZ's biggest asset is that it's near downtown. A field in Pickering wouldn't help with that. Same story for the air ambulances that delivery patients to downtown hospitals.

TTC: Scarborough Busway Construction (portion of the former Scarborough RT route)

Something I'll never get, why so many "express buses" in that area make every single local stop!

    Pickering Airport (Transport Canada/GTAA, Proposed)

I know, but those slots aren't much help if the airport is 200+ km away from you like the Hamilton would be for people east of the GTA

    Pickering Airport (Transport Canada/GTAA, Proposed)

HSR wouldn't help the millions of people born in other countries visit their relatives back home.

What ended up happening to the vacation time fiasco?

    Pickering Airport (Transport Canada/GTAA, Proposed)

I think the issue is if they’re going to build something there’s no point making it small and then scaling up

    Pickering Airport (Transport Canada/GTAA, Proposed)

The runway is only 40 feet wide, and 08 has a pole in the way at the end, the taxiways are some of the narrowest in Canada, and the ramp is setup as a bunch of one ways in practice.

    Pickering Airport (Transport Canada/GTAA, Proposed)

The Brampton flight club airport is far to small to accommodate anything

Former President Donald Trump's United States of America

Since I'm not in the US I don't think of a lot of the polices, I'm happy a few years ago the current administration changed the laws so your insurance can't hit you with "out of network" surprise bills. Even incredibly positive polices don't get noticed if they're passed by someone you dislike.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

It was pretty bad for me, my train kept getting delayed multiple times, and was packed to the gills

Former President Donald Trump's United States of America

Honestly why even bother arguing? Tarrifs were put on washing machines but NOT other white goods in 2018. The price of washers went up faster/higher relative to other white goods over the next few years. The Tariffs failed but I have people left and right telling me some how they will LOWER prices

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Not to stray too far off topic but the MPP who brought up the "high ratio" of Councilors to municipality size has a worse one that Toronto did at the time.

When I think of TOC's in north america that's what comes to mind lmao.

    Hamilton International Airport

Air Canada actually asked for Cabootage but only if they are allowed the same in the US

TBF the cost decrease was coupled with a small increase for those taking longer trips.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

In all the years I've taken GO I've seen 2 police officers riding to get around. My understanding is they can ride free because they can "step in" if an emergency happens. TBH even if they let nurses ride for free all the ones I know drive because of the lack of early AM trips.

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

No clue why they haven't done what Mississauga did!

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

How long do we expect to wait until demand builds? Personally though I don't agree with Ford, and I especially don't agree with ramming legislation though washout checks and balances.

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

As someone who enjoys the cycling trains, can any explain why what feels like a quarter of the off street bike trails seem to be closed every year? The waterfront trail was closed in Scarborough, The Moore Park Ravine trail was closed for several years, and now the don river trail for quite a...
