This will place a lot of pressure on 10 Dundas East to upgrade all of their signage to LED. I'd say easily within the next two years to be honest.

    Apple Store

Most of the Apple Store's got the new look last night. From the store I visited today, it's not a major change to the concept. It's more of a "refresh" of the accessory walls with the new "Avenue" concept. So the accessory walls are now separated by photography, music, art, etc The black Genius...

King West being stripped of its character. Even something as 'warehousey' as The Hoxton really gives this neighborhood its vibe.

Now that the exterior is nearly completed, I must say this is a massive improvement from when this block was Sears. Say what you want about the build and the quality, but this portion of Yonge looks so much more animated now. Can't wait to see the billboards light up.

Based on the renderings, it looks like there is still a "third" retailer (the brown two-storey storefront). The floor plans and announced square footage still show Uniqlo taking the interior space to the west. I'm assuming Uniqlo really pushed for some street presence in negotiations... and...

Some more shots from this morning. I don't think it's too small of an entrance. Once the EBar is up and running, it won't look as limited in terms of entryway. Then again, most Nordstrom's I've been to tend to have more narrow entrances from the mall. Not sure the reasoning why.
