    Toronto 629 King Residences (was Thompson Residences) | 53.34m | 15s | Freed | Saucier + Perrotte

When I first saw the building when it was launched it was a very nicely design building with a striking architecture, however I was shocked on the size of the units. They did offer plans to combine two units together to form a unit in the 700-800 sq.ft. range, but the prices became really...

It would really suck to accidently fall into that pit.

Annex Town5 (126 Spadina Road, Joy Developments, 3s, Steven Fong)

No need to be sorry, the floorplans are indeed pretty bad. Each townhouse is incredibly compact, one room per floor. The kitchens are smaller than those found in a condo studio unit and there is really no space for a real dining area. The only outdoor space is on the roof where you have to walk...

Sonder Hotel (was Templar, 348 Adelaide W, Rhed, 8s, Del Terrelonge) COMPLETE

It's too bad that most of the yellow LED strip lights on the building doesn't seem to be working. I came across another Rhed/Del Terrelonge building being quietly built when I was wandering around the Gladstone Hotel not too long ago. The building is located on 3 Peel Avenue which is a couple...

Toronto The Tower at King West | ?m | 26s | Plaza | BDP Quadrangle

yikes! It's like a portion of Mississauga has been concentrated and dropped in the city. What a big hot congested mess in LV! I'd rather live in Cityplace. At least there are open spaces, parks, a cohesive aesthetic (though to many it may look too sterile), and it doesn't look like the...

    Toronto Dragon Condos | 37.49m | 10s | Ideal Developments | IBI Group

I think Yonge Street would be a better comparison to Chinatown. They are pretty similar, however Yonge Street is starting to see signs of improvement though unfortunately it resulted in over commercialism and the spawning of a mass of high-rise condos. Location-wise Chinatown is centrally...

    13th Floor thoughts and opinions

The irony is that these sellers and agents who practice this are not Asian and it's often a sign that there is some kind of deficiency with the property. Buyers are much smarter than that.

That's why we have Highway 7. That's where all of the good Chinese markets and restaurants are located these days.

will we ever see snow that clean on Yonge Street? or even snow at all?

Or creepy when they are taking a peek in your medicine cabinet.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

No developer would want to reveal that 60-95% of their units were sold to investors. These mega high rise condos on Yonge St., in the Entertainment District and along the Gardiner are essentially glorified rental buildings.

    Toronto Forward Condos at Concord CityPlace | 94.48m | 30s | Concord Adex | P + S / IBI

Too bad Cityplace didn't extend some kind of lease offer to Amsterdam to keep it in the neighbourhood. I think one of the two large retail space at Parade under the bridge would be a great location, and will more life and activity there though it will need to rely on the connection of Fort York...

Massey Tower Condos (Mod Developments) - Real Estate -

Anyone spending over $700/sq.ft. for a awkwardly designed unit with standard cookie cutter finishes and features must be nuts, especially in this market. The investor market is going into hibernation. You could do much better in a much nicer neighbourhood.

So long Amsterdam Brewery, you will be missed here!

    oneeleven Condominiums (Harhay/Carttera) - Real Estate -

Walked past the sales centre this morning at 10:00 and there was a line up outside with police security at the parking lot entrance. There was apparently a VIP Broker's event at noon. Posted on the door was a will call list with about 90 agents long.

    700 King West - Information?

That would be the Westside Lofts, the building with the clock tower on the corner. Like digitalmrkter says the building is built like a tank as it was originally an office building of concrete construction. It was converted to residential lofts over 10 years ago with very tall ceilings about...

    Toronto Garrison Point | 118.56m | 35s | Cityzen | Hariri Pontarini

I totally agree. Liberty Village should have dispersed the townhouses much better to create a more urban and integrated neighbourhood. It's way to segregated right now. All of the townhouses clustered in on corner of the development while monsterous slab condos line the rest of the area. Retail...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

I think Brad Lamb has made plenty of money these past few years for him to take a little break from developing. He's still collecting some good commercial rent from the properties he's sitting on. There's a lot of inventory out there and more to come so his realty business should keep him busy...
