    Toronto Ïce Condominiums at York Centre | 234.07m | 67s | Lanterra | a—A

I think that wouldn't be bad at all... there's so little retail in the area... and with many condo's being built, it would be a awsome if they have some good retail there. With downtown being more condensed, I wouldn't want to travel far to go shopping and having the retail should be a walk away.

King Square (Woodbine Av @ Markland St, Markham, King Sq Ltd, 9s, P+S/IBI)

Generally speaking, I would think it's a good sign indicating that there is enough density in the area to warrant a plaza there. While it's effect on home values could be positive, I think it often depends on if the buyer is willing to buy a place near it. There have been some newer...

Southcore Financial Ctr: PricewaterhouseCoopers Tower (18 York St, bcIMC, 26s, KPMB)

What are they doing with the park? Looks like an old childrens train park - but it is barred up? are they just using it as a construction site?

    Shy Real Estate Agents

While not necessarily true.... those who want your business and aren't in just for the cash will look out for your interest. I know some P/T real estate agents who will work quite hard. They have another job and are just doing real estate as a side job and hobby, so they often work hard to earn...

Emerald Park Condos (Bazis International, Plaza, Metropia) - Real Estate

Yes... very true.... but when you tell people you live on the 4th floor, the association is there... versus, if you told someone you lived on the 5th floor, it wouldn't have that association dispite the fact, it is really the 4th floor.

    Toronto Cube Lofts | ?m | 6s | Neilas | RAW Design

A interesting fact... a company called Water View Capital Corp. was doing something with CUBE - "Available $750,000 10% Yeild Investment Oppurtunity" Investment Highlights: 1 Year Term - Matures Dec 1, 2010 2nd Mortgage @ 10% yeild Not sure when that was... probably sometime in 2009...

    New MLS rules

interesting... ok... so after the flat fee, the debate really then comes down to now... - why have a RE agent represent you versus, having a lawyer who can provide legal advice aswell?

Four Season Gardens (Hwy 7+404, Catalia Dev, 14+13+10+9s, Northgrave)

They were sold out of 1's and 1+den's quite early - before any real advertising was done. The only one they had at the time was just a sign at the site which said that their 1 br was starting at ~$160K or something... I think there are only the higher bed rooms (2 br, 2+d etc.. ) left.

King Square (Woodbine Av @ Markland St, Markham, King Sq Ltd, 9s, P+S/IBI)

Website is up: http://www.kingsquare.ca/home.html I hear that the price on the first floor ranges from $900 - $1,200/sq.ft and second floor at $800 - $1,000/sq.ft... By the looks of the site, it appears Oriental Mart is opening there... and the main brokerage owns Ritz Carlton.. :)

Pacific Mall Expansion + Hotel (Living Realty, 19s?, Petroff)

Ah... I go there on occassion.. primarily because of the resturant. There isn't anything that anchors the store. Aside from the dollar type store on the 1st floor, not really any place I would go just to check it out/shop... In regards to the market, it would be a problem since the resturant...

Pacific Mall Expansion + Hotel (Living Realty, 19s?, Petroff)

That would be awsome if they have Daiso here. They already have at least 2 stores in Vancouver... and since T&T moved here from there, I would imagine sooner or later, they would setup shop here. Considering its asian targeted. Pacific or Market Village would be a good spot.... it would help...

Imagine the dust and debris coming from the highway too. I hope they have considered this and have considered a way to keep stuff from falling down and hitting someone below.

    Toronto Infinity Condos | ?m | 35s | Conservatory Group | Richmond Architects

Your right, the building is boring and very typical - standard, not much WOW factor...but down the road, when things or opinions change, standard will still be "OK" whereas something like ICE with it's funky design may end up being "So yesterday"... relative to the number of amenities that...

Four Season Gardens (Hwy 7+404, Catalia Dev, 14+13+10+9s, Northgrave)

The path connection will eventually connect to Infinity 3. From MLS, it goes to the west through 16 York (ICE) and then to 25 Lower Simcoe St (Infinity 3); it goes to the south down to 90 Harbour St (??)
