I love this idea. Yet simply removing the Gardiner and putting a 6 lane boulevard wouldn't do any good. I still believe that running the highway underground, at least from just after fort York to the dvp is the best option. This means we then relieve traffic and clear up the waterfront. Also...

Is there a timeline for the flooding? Do they have a set date or we gonna have watch and wait?

The finish is coming on!! The paint looks ok and will look faded in 10 years, but the brick looks fairly nice. Now we wait for the final product. This tower has been topped off, but it has a taller twin yet to be built.

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

I have to agree with you. Many of chows "revolutionary plans" have been tried in new York, san francisco, los Angeles, Portland, or every city with massive issues in right now. As much as Some people don't like Furey I see that he is the best positioned to lead Toronto. Saunders is a Doug ford...

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I have to agree with you on this one. Even if better connecting the island would give the city more waterfront parkland, a draw of the islands is the isolation. It creates this destination feel to it that wouldn't be there if the public had easier access. In terms of the waterfront the city...

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I have to agree with this, personally I don't lean left in terms of politics. Yet i do support the proposal to close the airport by the left politicians idea. If closed, you could connect the islands with a bridge or a tunnel and give Toronto its own waterfront park. Maybe we put a giant bean...

Phase 2 does look nice but it is really generic and does not have the unique character of phase 1. Anyways here are some night photos I took while on a walk tonight. This is probably my favourite development in the Waterloo region right now.

I would also really want to see this happen as it creates a hole in the streetscape. I would like to see them try and build a residential tower above the Harry Rosen space. It would be interesting but if they do anything, it will most likely be a extension of the office space next door.

Niagara Falls The Stanley District | ?m | 22s | La Pue International | ACK

Has anybody been there recently? i really want to see the progress. Niagara should really focus on beautifying their city, as outside of fallsview casino, clifton hill and the waterfront street Niagara really is rundown and ugly. if one wants to go from their hotel on fallsview blvd, to Clifton...

^ I also cannot find any information about skating on waterfront Toronto's page on love park.

    Toronto Love Park | 3m | 1s | City of Toronto | CCxA

Yes, I understand. It was a mistake on my part to refer it as a pond. I feel like it was a missed opportunity to offer the city another skating rink as the one in front of the city hall is really crowded all throughout the winter.

Everyone is referring to it as a pond even you.

    Toronto Love Park | 3m | 1s | City of Toronto | CCxA

I really like the park as Toronto wasn't really built with green space in mind creating a concrete jungle. I am a big advocate for parkland, but i feel that the pond does not really serve as a proper pond at this depth. It is more of a reflecting pool like at a memorial site than a pond. In all...

    Toronto Love Park | 3m | 1s | City of Toronto | CCxA

I really don't see the point of this pond if it's only 5 cm deep. It just seems like a way to take up space. If they don't take care of it and the water gets murky, it will actually be a eyesore not a benefit. The heart shape is hard to see anywhere but from above, I guess it sounded cool to the...

    Toronto Love Park | 3m | 1s | City of Toronto | CCxA

Are you sure? It seems quite unfit for a ice rink. there is no proper Zamboni entrance, and the rock bed is not the best surface for ice to freeze on. It would be a cool place to go skating, if this is true I might have to go check it out next winter.

    Kitchener 200 Victoria Street South | 151.5m | 45s | Rome Logistics | Arcadis

Are the houses here really worth saving? from what I've seen their mostly rundown and have been made into duplexes and businesses. I would really like to see them make an effort to expand victoria park ( the park with the ponds), to add some sports amenities such as tennis and soccer. It is a...
