    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

However unlikely, it's not an outrageous assertion that something like this could be overlooked. Remember this? Raise the roof? Union Station reno runs into problem: New trains won't fit

So how many caissons / footings are there, and how many are still left to do? Its difficult to tell where the completed ones are just by looking at the ground.

Dont they cover the floor in a layer of concrete too?

Damn, lol. So that entire room is tinted pink because of the glass colour? It's like there is a giant Kenny Rogers Roasters sign across the street. http://www.deadlinedetroit.com/articles/16819/

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

Have a look at the drawing posted by Chester. It's as easy as taking the elevator up, and walking down the hall. Is this really any different than a regular building? Seems to me if you took the elevator to one of these upper floors, you would have no idea you were on a cantilevered floor...

Im really liking these new videos @Koops65. Keep it up! :) It's probably too early to know, but which tower do they plan on marketing/building first? East or West?

    Bay Adelaide West I believe.

Since they haven't sold many of the larger suites, could they adjust those floor plans to accommodate more of the smaller and better selling ones? Or is it too late for that? I dont know how it works, but that seems like an obvious thing to do.

Toronto Woodbine Racetrack Ancillary Facilities Building | 14.5m | 2s | Woodbine Ent | DIALOG

This doesn't make a whole lotta sense considering the real world range of electric cars is always improving. It's only a matter of time until electric cars take over (one hopes).

I was struggling to see what you guys were talking about, but I think I see it now. The newly constructed floor (on the right of the last photo) has a little addition that protrudes slightly from the edge. It looks like it will lead up to the apex of one of the diamond facets. Neat.

Pretty sure hes talking about the elevator core which I dont think has actual floors you stand on - It's hollow. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

I could very well be thinking about it wrong. Im just going by the video in which it looks like each column rotates or moves independently. It's hard for me to envision them not bumping in to each other. I understand what you mean with the synchronization gear (sort of like the machine gun of a...

I dont have time to look for it, but earlier in the thread someone mentioned the construction may be similar to the CITIC Bank Headquarters in China. http://legacy.skyscrapercenter.com/hangzhou/citic-bank-headquarters/22575/ Here it is - used the thread search function...

It's too bad nothing will be done with the pediment, at least according to the renderings. It looks like something used to be there, but it's hard to tell.

Thanks for the updates 67. I know there are forum members who would certainly be up to that task. I would love to see one done.

NYC is amazing. There is nothing wrong with aspiring to be greater, and using a city you admire as inspiration.

I wouldn't think so, the building isn't that tall. It would be the same as a tree being on top of a large hill. There are likely other factors that would affect the growth and health of the trees. I won't pretend to know what they are.

When do sales for tower 2 begin? Or have they already?
