By the way, I see the Toronto Public Library sorting facility in the corner of Front and Parliament is still there in the rendering. Wasn't that moving somewhere else to make room for this? Will they be keeping it or reusing it for the data processing centre?

They do say on the WZMH website that there will be "tenant offices on the ground level", so at least there will be some interaction with the street.

I don't know, I live in a building with drywall separations between apartments, and I gotta say I've never heard any noise from my next-door neighbours (and they have a dog, I can hear it when I'm in the hallway). Now, we do have concrete floors, I don't think I'd like to live in an apartment...

New crane going up this morning. Hard to tell from my vantage point, but I think it's for the Canary District Condos.

There is a gallery with tons of photos from the park at the Canary District condos' website. http://canarydistrict.com/news-articles/don-river-park-photos/ They were posted a couple of weeks ago, but it looks like they were taken during the summer or early fall, everything is still green.

And also they want to let the grass and trees "settle" into the earth before people start walking on it.
