The core is typically ahead of the steel framing by a few floors, so I'd expect to see the full floors within the next couple of months.

The Hub submitted their complete development application in February and held community consultations in June, now in the re-submission phase.. so I'd argue they're ahead of either 160 Front or CIBC Square 2.

It may not be the sexiest tenant, but for what it’s worth, my wife is freaking out (in a good way.)

August 8 - work has started on the rooftop terrace that will be level with the ICE condos podium.

Technically, 34 out of the 45 will be within the core we’re seeing being formed now.

I’m heading to bed now (1am) and noticed they’re still working away, I’m assuming to finish the concrete pour. Hopefully the nasty rain storm didn’t derail things too much. Would fully support whatever tax increase is required to get this crew to work on Union Station next..

August 3 - the 5 platforms have been raised one-by-one over the week. Can’t wait for the next jump up and hopefully the introduction of steel columns and framing. Scotiabank Arena getting some work done on the previous patch job, not sure what they’re working towards though.

IMO, the complicated project argument was legit up until a couple of years ago. After that, you have to ask: aren’t all projects kind of complicated? Maybe they just require people that can handle complicated? I don’t know if it’s resources, money, technology, but something is wrong with this...

Banning left turns on York St. would ultimately just make things worse. You're favouring through-traffic on Lake Shore, at the cost of punting the left-turn problem further east to Bay St, which will soon be heavily impacted by the GO Bus terminal, 30 Bay and CIBC Square. At the end of the day...

A rare occasion where I hope there is some cheapening on this building that removes the two inlets on the east elevation. It currently looks like the building is yelling at the Royal York.
