    Would love to know who owns the old Robinson's and Royal Bank lots. How many decades have those key sites sat either fully unused or as a surface parking lot. If any site could be allowed to exceed the height limit, that would get my vote.

    There is a ton of lot/space to work with here and with a healthy dose of density I could easily see them incorporating some portion into the design. We really need the development community to step up and make some quality developments that incorporate what little building history we have...

    I would like to think that Buffalo volumes would be a good indicator of potential. That airport still advertises in the YHM market about how convenient they are and they get carriers not available in Canada.

    Completely silly IMHO, never got the logic. If I am standing on the edge of the escarpment and looking out, anything with height blocks the view of the harbour or Lake Ontario. If they were worried that a building in the lower city would block the view of the escarpment, think they missed that...

    As noted on SSP, YHM needs to court Southwest, Spirit, Jet Blue, and encourage the Canadian government to allow foreign competition on domestic routes (maybe even just to secondary airports). Would love to see Play take on a route map for Canada with YHM as hub.
