Fibre cable internet for smaller condos

Just a heads up that we recently made Beanfield available in our 12 year old condo building as an alternative to Rogers and Bell. Given the issues that the corporation and property management have had with them, I would never recommend them to any other building.

    Bloor-Yorkville Scene

    That's a great hint - it's going to be a Uniqlo store.

    Toronto Pears on the Avenue | ?m | 20s | Menkes | P + S / IBI

I heard that Blythe Academy has leased the retail. Don't think I'd be too happy if I was a resident in the building.

Yes I'm sure. They announced that they were planning on moving until they found a tenant to take the space that they were supposed to move into.

First/Great Gulf isn't actually moving into this building. And they're putting Starbucks in the ground floor.

Oops. But the same theory still applies.

    Church-Wellesley Village

Did anyone else notice this in today's Globe and Mail: http://www.collierscanada.com/16382 Given the existing retail tenants (specifically Pizza Pizza), I imagine it would be years before any redevelopment actually happens.

    St Lawrence Market

I rarely use the "express line" because I learnt a long time ago that it's not the number of items but the time that it takes to process a transaction that is the biggest reason why a line moves slowly. Obviously, the processing time is the same whether someone has 1 item or 30 items. The...

    St Lawrence Market

Signs in the window saying 25% off entire store, with an asterisk saying some items may be exempt.

Not sure if this was posted already, but Aroma Cafe is going into the space on the north-west corner of King and Princess.

http://www.icx.ca/propertyDetails.aspx?propertyId=11592692&PidKey=1026037482 Guess they didn't buy the building at 450 Bathurst. Ridiculous price, so I'm not surprised.

The crane is coming down this morning.

Not really anything new, but this is the view from my office window. The taller tower completely dwarfs The Regency across the road, but the shorter tower looks in proportion to The Florian.

Does anyone know if its true that the air conditioning hasn't been working for the past few days?

    Toronto One Bedford | ?m | 32s | Lanterra | KPMB

I've read through the 43 pages of posts, but couldn't find anyone commenting on the Varsity Stadium lights. I can't imagine that most of the purchasers paying $1000 - $1500 per sq.ft. are going to be very happy when their units are lit up like daytime for hours every night. If the residents at...
