Photos are of track construction just east of Union, taken today. They have been working for about the past two months (mostly weekends all through the night), moving around from one track to another. Does anyone know what they are doing and how it fits into the GO/Union expansion? Thanks.

One exception would be when there is something blocking the streetcar tracks, like an accident, or someone parking too close to the tracks in winter - in that case, a bus could go around.

Did you mean that they have now put in glass that is a bronze/copper colour? I couldn't see any glass installed on any of the photos on the thread...

I rent at 18 Yonge, and although, at least in my unit, the room sizes are quite small and the fixtures and finishes fairly basic, I have had no problems in the unit or the building with anything breaking or not working.
