    Toronto Aura at College Park | 271.87m | 78s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

I had read somewhere, a few years ago, that TTC, for its own reasons, was not interested in this link. Something to do with too much congestion on the platform.

Automation Gallery, Thanks for taking time to put together all this information at one place. It would mean that, down the road, more and more individuals will be moving downtown/City of Toronto, more condos, small condos and prices going up and up. Am I correct in my conclusions?

Urbandreamer is known for making inane comments on various threads on this Board. Best course of action is that knowing the source of the comments, just ignore them with all the contempt they deserve.

Perhaps, you might wish to hold further discussions/opinions till the end of October. Unless it is changed again, I am getting possession of my unit on 62nd floor on October 16th. I might be able to say something on light pollution. My unit faces North/East. And as Steveve has stated in post...

It seems that lot of work still needs to be done on the upper(Executive) floors. Occupancy on Executive floors is scheduled to start around the middle of October. It does not seem to be possible. Anyone with the insider's news?

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

In Canadian law, half-truth is more dangerous than an outright lie. I made a post # 8942 to warn any innocent visitors on this thread to not to take his post seriously and get hurt financially. TorontoMike$$ has stated that he uses the services of high priced tax smart people -- lawyers...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Yes, you can claim CCA to reduce rental income to Nil. However, you can not use CCA to either create or increase rental loss. In the event of a sale of rental property at price above the book value, all the CCA taken in previous years will be taxed in full in the year of sale. And that could...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Yes, your calculations are correct. You may not be an accountant but your knowledge about tax implications is almost as good as that of an accountant. See my post # 8942 above about the day of recokening when eventually a property is sold.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

There is a saying, at least in England, where I lived for a few years when I was a Spring chicken, that little knowledge is a dangerous thing. So goes with your knowledge of Income Tax. You and CRA are correct that losses from investment property, that includes rental losses, can be offset...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Folks, I would prefer if you were to keep your discussions focused on the topic, that is, Baby, we got a bubble?, and use civilised language. Perhaps, you might wish to start another thread to vent your feelings towards each other. Mods, perhaps, you might wish to expunge recent posts...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Yes, the point is that people were encouraged to save for the future expenses first rather than borrow, spend and pay going forward. Amount of interest did not even matter. I remember when Visa was first introduced in Canada/Toronto. It used to be called 'Chargex'. Quite a few retailers...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

I would like to add my 2 bits to the comments made by ex-Montreal girl and 'ex-Montreal guy(ex-Montreal senior citizen?:). In the early sixties I used to live in London, England. We used to get paid every week. In January of a year, banks will start 'Christmas club' -- encouraging...

What should be considered a decent sized condo?

Periodically, I have been hearing and, once in a while, reading that downside of living in a condo with children is that, quite often, children have very little oportunity to socialise/play with other children. A few years ago, I had read in The Star that in one of the buildings, in the...

Aura at College Park Condos (Canderel Stoneridge) - Real Estate -

If the letter was sent by registered mail, then, post office must have had someone sign a receipt when the mail was delivered. You should ask for a copy of the receipt to see as to who signed for the receipt for the letter. That should clear the matter and will form the basis of your next step(s).

Aura at College Park Condos (Canderel Stoneridge) - Real Estate -

At one time, this changes in occupancy dates, and resulting problems for the purchasers, were common. About 2/3 years ago, Tarion set firm rules for the change in occupancy dates. If my memory is correct, a developer now can change the 'firm' occupancy date only twice. If there is a third...
