Daniels Corp has been doing some kind of emergency pre-emptive inspection of the entire project for the last few weeks due to someone finding an issue on a balcony on the 8th floor of the west building. Apparently, nothing had fallen off, at least not yet.

Wowee. This is going to be a super-duper Loblaws with the LCBO and whatnot. I can't stand the 2 Metros in the area, and that crappy LCBO at Yonge / Wellesley, where the refrigerator for the beer is actually more of a toaster.

I was wondering what the heck that place was. There's been a bunch of kids hanging out on the steps right in front of the restaurants that opened beside them. I'd be freaking if I were those restaurant owners because they won't be able to attract customers if there's kids smoking and drinking...

For some reason, the area around Yonge / Wellesley attracts a lot of crack heads and some of the more aggressive pandhandlers in the city. If this parcel of land becomes a park, the crackheads will finally have a place to call home and make sure nobody else can enjoy the space.
