    Toronto 300 Front Street West | 156.05m | 49s | Tridel | Wallman Architects

yah, that is sweet for someone who has some kinky stuff they want to store in the back... :) or play hide & seek... kinda cool, kinda odd... if only they made it a revolving hidden door or something which looks like a wall such that it can become a hidden room... and 10 years from now if the...

    Toronto James Cooper Mansion | ?m | 32s | Tridel | Burka

Goodness, looking at those pictures, I can't believe this is a Tridel building... you'd think there be some quality here, but it doesn't seem so at all... considering the price of these condos - I'm sorry to say: what a rip off...

    Toronto Infinity Condos | ?m | 35s | Conservatory Group | Richmond Architects

whoa, 1 week and all that digging? I hope that there is some pedestrian mall... at least it would give the place some activity upground instead of all underground (not to say that it's bad either).

Toronto Sherbourne Common, Canada's Sugar Beach, and the Water's Edge Promenade | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto | Teeple Architects

Always a good sign when they are accounted for. Good idea personally with all the hoodlums... :) I think in Paris, they leave them out without chains... what a contrast..

Thanks! That was very helpful... so in otherwords, nothing really has happened but rather, they are prepping the ground by putting heavy objects on it.

Ok. So what exactly is shoring? Forgive my ignorance, but I can't find a Definitions/Terms reference [maybe there should be one?] that would explain what that means...

    Toronto Infinity Condos | ?m | 35s | Conservatory Group | Richmond Architects

This thread has been slow.... If anyone is down in the area again, can you grab some pictures? Driving down to the downtown/waterfront area isn't always easy at best. Any idea if they had started digging?

    G-20 Summit in Toronto

As a visible minority myself, I wanted to contribute my 2 cents... thankfully, I don't live in the heart of downtown T.O. when things like this happens. I must agree that for the majority of Torontonians, we are to .... how to put this? afraid?? of getting involved.. it's like that psycological...

Mackenzie Commons (Richmond Hill, Mjr Mac & 404, Rice Commercial Group)

Please correct my title if it's incorrectly formatted.... With the many different Asian malls out there, here's another one... while I'm not oppose to them per se... I hope they garnish a mixture of different stores to cater to all. Without further adieu: From -...

    Toronto Ïce Condominiums at York Centre | 234.07m | 67s | Lanterra | a—A

looks like that video also shows Infinity is getting dug along side the same time as ICE - probably cheaper (less equipment being moved around).

The laughing cow at Vietnamese restaurants?

I think it's because it's a different product... they aren't selling cheese... I think the cow comes from their beef representation.. pho is beef noodles...

    Toronto Infinity Condos | ?m | 35s | Conservatory Group | Richmond Architects

Yah, they are dull and I'm pretty sure there are alot of exciting one's out there... but not all people are into exciting. I think their name says it all - they are Conservative in their designs and while exciting may be great for the first 2-3 years, once the trend changes, the exciting may be...

    Toronto Infinity Condos | ?m | 35s | Conservatory Group | Richmond Architects

Ok. It seems that everyone is against me on this. However, my point is that - Infinity doesn't look that shabby; though I don't really like their drop off/entrance way. Hopefully, Infinity 3,4 will improve on that.

Fair enough, but it'll be a while before that thing get's built. While ICE will have nice curves and certainly will top Infinity's design, it's still quite a way from being built.

They can't be that bad.... if you think about it, they'll be the only one's with some curves - based on that last picture above. Otherwise, we're plagued with square boxes all around. I think it adds some definition to the skyline.
