Yeah.. the current price per sq. ft. in Toronto downtown is around $1000 CAD. Is this considered cheap ? May be.. if you compare the current price in Manhattan (as per diagram), Hong Kong, London etc. Question is whether Toronto will continue to attract investment to generate jobs and population...

Wow. If this is the case, it would be over a year delay even the tower was already sold out in late 2016. Then, it will take the same builder another decade or more (2030+) to complete their 1 Yonge project with several towers double the height of PJ tower.

Good progress.. will see the construction crane soon :) If it takes 1 week per floor on average, 6 underground levels + 48 floors = 60+ weeks to complete.. So the earliest move-in date is 3Q2019 (?)

Does anyone know when the construction will commence ? The sales started last November, not sure if they need to sell over a certain percentage in order to start construction. But the building looks cool with curly shape and bricks

Its high quality material for all the windows. Having an indoor pool and hot tub instead of the boot is really a net benefit to the residents. Great job to the crew and builder. But the floor tiles, especially the basement area, look really cheap. The lobby remains to be seen, but does not look...

Thanks for posting the picture. See a line of metal clips.. not sure if they are used for mounting the top row of windows. Will look cool at night if there are trendy lighting at the rooftop :)

Nothing wrong to leave the impression to the tourists that Toronto has CN tower surrounded by many tall buildings because of the housing boom lately.

Looks like there is an emergency exit on the north size, several openings (sunroofs?)... Wonder what"s going to be inside? Swimming pool? Can someone respond ? It may look odd with a huge grey wall mixed with blue"ish window / cladding. Hope the designers can do magic to make the building...

I agree with all of you... Blue looks very ugly... Silver or light grey look much better, like those already installed at the back of the Sony Center

Yes, grey is fine for the building as long as there is matching color for the glass window. The cladding on the side of the building (Sony"s mechanical room?) looks nice. We were told that L tower is supposed to be a high end product with unique design. Let's see. I always try to compare...

8 Esplanade Does anyone know the outcome of the meeting held at City Hall on June 23 ? Appreciate if someone can post an update.

As one of the condo owners, I do like the new L (or I, if you want to say it that way) tower design without the Arts Center or restaurant at the bottom of the tower. Will see if the pool and the public square look nice once it's built.
