There is a neighbourhood meeting tonight from 7-9 pm at Maple Cottage (62 Laing Street) about this development. It's being organized by people who are against it. Councillor Fletcher will attend and maybe Kyle Knoeck, City Planning Manager for Wards 29, 30, 31, and 32.

The institution of government is inherently ethically bankrupt. This should be obvious yes, but support is so high mostly in part due to indoctrination at schools.

Transfer the property from the state and give it to the park workers and management, who in turn will have to abandon the government dole in order to run it themselves. That's the kind of revitilization I'd like to see :-)
