Insertnamehere, I can't believe you'd throw Queen's Park into that mix, as if it is anywhere near the standard of those NYC spaces that were shown. Isn't there a thread on this forum specifically addressing how embarrasingly shabby Queens Park is given it's the seat of our provincial government...

I'm pretty sure a trellis over them wouldn't prevent an unexpected pressure buildup to be released , sheeeze.

Perhaps the park designers could come up with a more attractive design in conjunction with waste management ( one with wheels, etc), a design that is not so utilitarian looking but satifies all stakeholders.

I'm disappointed that there will be no trees down the center median. I think it's going to look rather barren.

For me one of the ugliest things about these buildings are the hideous mechanical boxes clad in what looks like faded green aluminum 1980s backyard shed siding. Just awful. The only bit of colour in the area and it's this crappy faded green.

Vancouver aquarium is bigger by animal count and number of liters in tanks. And number of species I believe. This maybe largest all indoor aquarium though.
