    Toronto Eglinton Line 5: Royal York-Eglinton Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

My apologies. I should have taken off my glasses and looked closer at that map. Most of the maps I've seen extend Richview east to Royal York but I believe the above map more accurately depicts how the community views the area. I agree that 'Royal York North' is an uninspired choice.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5: Royal York-Eglinton Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

The station is technically in Richview according to that map but Richview also covers the Islington and Kipling stations. This neighbourhood pocket is often referred to as Royal York Gardens but I was wondering if Humber Heights or Westmount (both on the east side of Royal York) would be used...

    Toronto Station Place | 134.72m | 40s | First Capital | Diamond Schmitt

A grocery store is desperately needed here. After losing the No Frills, nothing is within walking distance to these buildings (Food Basics is a bit too far for winter). It is close enough to Kip District that it could serve at least 10 buildings in the immediate area once all of the...

Falling glass again. http://www.cp24.com/news/falling-glass-from-king-west-condo-injures-passerby-1.2326806 Glass falling from a condominium on King West injured a pedestrian walking through the neighbourhood. Police say a 29-year-old man was bleeding from a head wound after shards of...

If development continues at this pace, there may be a day when only that top third is visible in most skyline shots.

I hope we don't lose all of these houses along this stretch. I thought these doctor's offices gave this stretch of St. Clair W more of a neighbourhood feel even though it is very close to Yonge.

The Islington Towns (Islington/Six Points Road, 3s, Dunpar Homes)

More Dunpar in South Etobicoke. http://www.dunparhomes.com/communities/active-developments/the-islington/ They must be on the small side, similar to Westwood. Project description says "up to 1800 square feet". Dunpar towns are usually in the 2,000 square foot range.

Humber Mews (636 Evans Avenue, Menkes, 3s)

I believe the parking is underground here. Cool feature that I've seen in a few other townhome developments.

Typical Dunpar townhomes... right down to the small hexagon windows in the front. :(

Westwood Towns (3879 Bloor St West, Dunpar, 3s)

I wonder if this will spark more development along this stretch. Jopling, Acorn and Poplar (between Bloor and Dundas) are great development opportunities. These streets are a short walk to Kipling subway/GO. They are lined with mostly very small bungalows, many look as though they have never...
