    While all that may be true, we're talking about the colour of the balcony glass here, not mechanical or engineering issues. I can't image there's anything stopping them from swapping the clear glass for red tomorrow if it so suited them to.

    I suspect that there isn't a tower in this city where we wouldn't be disappointed had we been given the opportunity to see the preliminary visions of the design.

    Let's be real. This is still better than 95% of what's being built in Toronto, and it's certainly unique to the city. I'd rather a third-rate Foster than the same Wallman, Core, HP and aA designs we've seen over and over again.

    At first I was disappointed that the uppermost segment looked as though it got lopped off compared to the lower four, but I don't mind it now as it looks like a cap rather than the design stopping abruptly.

    Not sure I'd describe the renderings as being fire truck red. Certainly a little brighter than what we're getting but not a stark difference to my eye. I'm sure the recent overcast skies are making it look duller than it is.

    Usually I don't like a lot of mullions or spandrel, but they've used it with great effect here. The alternating tones and patterns create a nice sense of texture.
