    Toronto Backyard Neighbourhood Condos | 24.99m | 10s | VANDYK | Kohn

Hi Interchange…yes I will sadly. I’m on Crown Hill so there’s a steep incline…I’m hoping I’ll still see the tops of the tallest in the the CBD, but who knows. on the up side though….my view north and south of there will have lots of new beasts to fill in what doesn’t get blocked. I also have...

    Toronto Backyard Neighbourhood Condos | 24.99m | 10s | VANDYK | Kohn

Hi Interchange….I know we are practically neighbours as our paths crossed at the community meeting for this project…lol, and we both asked questions that we recognized as being UT’ers. I thought I’d share my view of the site as best I can see it.

    Toronto Mirabella Condominiums | 120m | 38s | Mirabella Dev Corp | Scott Shields

A grade one student in my class with a set of Lego WOULD have created something more interesting than these bland waterfront “whales”! 🥵

    Proposed renaming of Dundas Street

Thank you for articulating that. Very well said. 🙂 I heard a good one from a shop keeper down the street from where I live. He said they should name it after Jack Layton (I know there’s already the ferry terminal)… but he said if we did then we’d have “Jack, Queen, King”….😂

    Proposed renaming of Dundas Street

I’m not white…I’m Metis. Have been all my 60 years. 😉. i just retired recently but continue to work as an occasional teacher. I was raised in a multicultural home where racism was deplored. I’ve promoted multiculturalism and anti racism all my life….I was ”woke” before most “wokists” were...

    Proposed renaming of Dundas Street

William Davis passed today. Name it after him. Best premier the province ever had. No skeletons there or we’d have heard of them by now. Met him once at the ROM…I was there with my grade 4 students. He approached us (maybe 80ish years old at the time). He asked the kids about school and...

    The Fountains Of Toronto

My favourite fountain hasn’t been around for a while. It looked like a Muskoka grotto with rocks and trees.…it was more like a series of waterfalls. It went down below street level so you looked down into it. It was on the Bay Street side of the Manulife Centre. Sadly, it was ripped out to...

    Proposed renaming of Dundas Street

Hmmmm….I recall how much he embraced and supported the LGBTQ communities and Pride *sarcasm*. So, they rename it after him only to change the name again a tear 😢 and a year later after they “investigated” his background?! Really?!

I totally agree with you. It’s an Art Deco beauty. Or Art Moderne….not entirely sure lol. But it’s cleanly gorgeous! Eyes open, ears listening….Developers….it would make an elegant lobby if you choose to build a condo there!
