stunning! feels like a new era for Toronto architecture is upon us with some of these new designs. I just returned from London where debate about what constitutes fine architecture is so very exciting (and produces buildings such as the Pinnacle, etc.). what struck me is how engaged Londoners...

i know several people who live in that area - including in the pantages tower - they love it and they feel safe. they are all shocked at how unusual the shooting in the eaton centre was. they also talk about the incredibly vibrant quality of life in downtown toronto compared to other cities....

I agree, completely wrong...... 'pencil pushers' are there to protect us (and our cities) from profit-driven developers..... who care nothing about how buildings meet streets, the materials used in construction, the ways in which buildings affect people, etc.....
