Talked to a couple of the construction workers. Apparently the "flood" was caused by a faulty connection to a washer/dryer unit, and it did lots of damage. Many of the suites need to have the drywall and hardwood floors ripped out and re-installed. They said either 7 suites or 7 floors...

Looked like they were taking the crane down last night. Guess the demolition has reached a point where they can almost begin digging.

Are they going to remove the guide latches after they weld the seams? It will look really great if its all smooth and seamless!

Regarding the hoarding: Its probably really important for it to be there now. Last year, when walking to work, I can recall at least 4 times when large chunks of ice would fall off of trump or scotia and land on the metal roof of the hoarding. The sound is really loud.... sounds like a bomb...

They were out washing the podium this morning. It was a guy on a lift with a hose and some soap. Perhaps seeing if they can clean it up... or maybe testing if they can fix the deficiencies?
