TRUMP SOHO went for $3,000 U.S. dollars per sq. foot and so did Trump Waikiki. So yes, I guess it is cheap in comparison. The Toronto real estate market doesn't appear to have gotten over inflated like the United States. That is one of the key things that attracted me to this project.

It is interesting looking back at this letter from summer 2006. Residence pricing was around $692 per square foot. They are now selling them for $1500 per square foot. I am not sure how many buyers out there are paying this rate but that is what they are listed at.

Their official website has stated a 60 storey building for sometime and they have confirmed it many times. I agree with waiting for an official announcement before changing it to 62 stories but the 57 storey is out of date. http://www.trumptoronto.ca/main_nav.html

You heard it from me first, the Trump Tower will now be 62 stories tall, not 60. It will be quite a while before you ever seen an official announcement from Trump though.

Regardless of how good/bad I do with this investment, it is one hell of a lot better than the US Stock Market these days. I hope our market doesn't bleed over to Canada's market.
