Bad cell phone reception in tall towers?

I just moved into a new unit at Aura, on the 46th floor and the cell phone reception is pretty terrible! I have to leave my phone at the window to make sure I get calls. Is this an issue that a lot of people encounter when they live or work high up? Maybe they still need to install...

That second shot is definitely squished on the top, you can tell by the floors getting shorter, and especially the proportions of the crane and how it is curved. some kind of perspective correction filter must have been used.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

The demand for condos for rent is still HUGE. I just went through months of research to find a condo for rent and I can conclude that LOTS of people in Toronto make good enough money to afford brand new high priced units. Bidding wars are common! I don't see how any home or condo owners would...

The main doors into the basement coming from college park have no glass and say EMERGENCY DOOR UNLOCKED BY FIRE ALARM. All of those doors should have glass and have THE SHOPS AT AURA written at least somewhere.

The less parking spaces get built, the more people will resort to public transit making the city more liveable.

This is how the pro-heritage people here should see this: in the year 2500, Torontonians will either look at this corner as a 500 year old warehouse or a 400 year old canadian icon's biggest project.

Can anyone think of any tall buildings in Toronto with a better design than these?

Whatever sunlight is no longer cast on a handful of properties is now being recieved by the tower that casts the shadow. In the end MORE citizens enjoy sunlight if they're all living in high rises than if they're spread out at 1/100th of the density. Aside from that Manhattan residents walk...

To me one of the major pros of this project is that it breaks the skyline tapering. Forcing the city's shape into highlighting big bank buildings as the center of the world is just wrong IMO.
