I thought there will be townhouses on the main floors of Phases 1 & 2? I agree.

And to the 2nd phase, they've added the bridge that will house the penthouses (similar to the one in the 1st phase).

Yes, it will be interesting to see what they'll do for phases 3 & 4. Also, they've made changes to phase 2. In Solaris' post (drawing posted by MetroMan), Phase 2's west building is shorter than Phase 1's east building. Those 2 buildings are now of the same length in the Presentation...

I don't think the condos will alter Yonge Street's length (1,896 km; 1,178 miles from Toronto's lakeshore to Rainy River, Ontario, at the U.S' Minnesota border ;) I completely agree. The Sales Office alone already improved that area. I'm confident that Pier 27 and Waterlink condos will...

Pier 27 Presentation Gallery Have you been to the new Sales Office? Here's CH's take on it: Jun 27, 2008 04:30 AM Christopher Hume With a showroom like this, who cares about the condo? Long before Pier 27, the new residential complex at the foot of Yonge St., is even a hole in the...

Apparently, Toronto condo developments are still perceived as "bargains."

I suggest you buy a parking space. That development is not like the ones in harbourfront/waterfront or downtown Toronto where you can practically walk "everywhere." But there are streetcars that will take you to the subway or TTC (I think).

What do you mean? Please elaborate. On another topic: While I can appreciate that the developers want to present their Sales Office/Presentation Gallery as a ship by adding the "sails," I think these diminished its beauty; but I still think it's very nice ;)

    Also interested in knowing this.

    Toronto Waterlink at Pier 27 | 43.89m | 14s | Cityzen | a—A

And maybe that's the reason why some bought there?

One of the best 'post' I've read. MetroMan brilliantly articulated his points; despite the late hour ;) Now, we just have to hope Waterfront Toronto's listening.

    Toronto Waterlink at Pier 27 | 43.89m | 14s | Cityzen | a—A

The above info's wrong. As of yesterday, the Sales Office is still under construction, although it seems almost finished. Incidentally, in Friday's National Post, Pier 27's shown as WATERLINK AT PIER 27.

Wow, great, clear pictures, Redroom Studios! The ones who bought in the development must be grateful...on their behalf, I thank you ;)

I thought those townhomes were expensive until reading in today's paper that new condos east of downtown's about $436 per sf; $491 in downtown west, and $674 in the downtown core. $350 per sf will only get you a new unit in the low-end developments (?) ;( And in the Bloor/Yorkville area the...

    Toronto Waterlink at Pier 27 | 43.89m | 14s | Cityzen | a—A

Post Homes Spring 2008 Edition has a 2 page Pier 27 AD. Supposedly, the newly constructed Sales Office is now open, complete with model suite. And there's mention of retail space on the ground floor which should make some people in this forum, happy. It will be interesting to know where...

    Toronto Ïce Condominiums at York Centre | 234.07m | 67s | Lanterra | a—A

Is it true that they are planning to widen the sidewalks of York Street and reduce the lanes to 2 Northbound directions?

    Toronto Pinnacle Centre Condos | 161.84m | 55s | Pinnacle | P + S / IBI

A nice hotel in that area is not a bad idea since Westin, Fairmont Royal York and Radisson are the only options for those who want to stay near the lake.

    Toronto Waterlink at Pier 27 | 43.89m | 14s | Cityzen | a—A

I doubt they can squeeze 2 buildings in each of the 3 subsequent phases, hence, having a bridge is unlikely?

    Toronto Waterlink at Pier 27 | 43.89m | 14s | Cityzen | a—A

I thought the small parcel of land north of the 1st phase's west building does not belong to them... Thanks for the info, Urban Shocker.
