    Hamilton 354 King Street West | 82.71m | 25s | Vrancor Development | srm Architects

2 floor lobby/ground floor? So far it's already looking different than the render. Will be interesting to see what this actually ends up looking like.

    Hamilton 188 Cannon Street East | 106.1m | 32s | Vantage | Arcadis

The render is for an old proposal, we don't know what the 32 floor will look like

Hamilton McMaster University Campus Master Plan | ?m | ?s | McMaster University | BDP Quadrangle

As a former University of Guelph student, I can say that having campus be more pedestrian friendly/focused is a huge win. It was by far one of the highlights of the Guelph campus compared to other school such as Mac and Western that have roads crisscrossing everywhere through it.

Hamilton McMaster University Campus Master Plan | ?m | ?s | McMaster University | BDP Quadrangle

I think it's important for universities to maintain some parking to accommodate those visiting from out of town for conferences, meetings, guest lectures, etc. The fact that they're proposing higher density parking structures on land that is currently surface parking (ultimately reducing the...

    Hamilton Centurion | ?m | 9s | Effort Group | DPAI

The initial design was significantly better; not sure why the pivot happened.

Hey @FF407, did you intentionally take the drone shot from this angle to match? It's eerily similar (but does a great job at showing the scale of this project)

Can't wait for the blank concrete wall of the Marquee Residence to be hidden

    Hamilton 1065 Paramount Drive | ?m | 8s | Mikmada | srm Architects

Truly no reason for this not to be approved

High Immigration and the Housing Crisis

Not having enough places to live results in not having affordable places to live -- it becomes a seller/landlord market. Altering the supply/demand balance (eg. build more homes or reduce the amount of people coming to Canada) can change that.

    Hamilton McMaster Graduate Student Residence | 97.9m | 30s | Knightstone | Diamond Schmitt

It's actually 94.3 m (213 King Street West), not 82, so only 3.3m shorter -- definitely weird that they opted to put signage on the Western facing side. Is the same being done on the side facing eastward?

    Hamilton Sanders Garden Condos | ?m | 12s | Bloomfield Group | Architectural Design

Increase to 12 floors would be fantastic

    Hamilton 84 York Boulevard | ?m | 30s | Empire | Rafael + Bigauskas

"the council felt that with the trend of adding 30 story buildings that this area was losing its original character" By character do they mean poor, rundown, falling apart and full of homeless people? I'm okay with the area losing the character and building modern condos for people with...

    Hamilton 50 Creighton Road | 40.53m | 12s | Proformance Investments | KNYMH

Height = 40.53m "The proposed development is to demolish the existing building and to construct a 12-storey residential condominium with 168 dwelling units, 204 parking spaces (62 above ground spaces and 142 underground spaces), 124 bicycle spaces, 205 lockers, and 726 m² of rooftop amenity...

Nope, if I remember correctly form the drawings, this won't be flush with the McMaster building... :( EDIT:

    Hamilton The Setai | 28m | 8s | Lev Living | srm Architects

Dundurn could definitely use a revitalization. I also feel like it has the bones to become similar to Locke, and it's relative proximity to MIP would place it in a great location when (if) MIP fully gets built out (such as the proposed residentials buildings).

    Hamilton 2900 King Street East | 69.2m | 20s | Camarro Group | RAW Design

I disagree -- it's on an arterial road, near a highway, ~1km to Eastgate Square and the future sight of LRT, and ~3km to a GO Train station.
