GO has posted some pictures of the new design for Union Train shed. http://www.gotransit.com/unionstationrenewal/usrp_gallery.htm The new glass atrium design looks pretty good.

"Ensuring all-day GO Service on the Milton Line is implemented ASAP." According to Mississauga MPP Bob Delaneys' website the construction will start in 2011. Once the EA passes all the redtape. By that time the Japanese will have a flying train and we will still be running a 120 km/h...

During my recent visit to Toronto I did notice that certain parts of the rusty guard rails on the expressway have been removed and are being replaced with concrete barriers. It sure looks nice. The rusting guard rails are an eyesore. Are there plans to remove them across the expressway or...

I did read somewhere that a new EA has been completed recently. If there are 3 tracks at some spots then a couple of bridges need to be upgraded. I hope that this project starts soon.

Any updates on when the govt. is planning to add a third track on the Milton GO line ?

Cant wait for this baby to go up. One of the best designed building in TO. Getting sick of the FUGLY FCP. Why cant the city force the owners of FCP to fix the fugly tower ? It is an embarassment.:mad:

Another set of Boxes.:mad: TO needs more creative designs like the L-Tower.

We have some real creative people in this town but dont know why we cant create a real GEM. I bloor is another of those fugly tower.:( NYC and chicago way above TO.

Trump will be a Jewel in the Skyline with its NYC architecture style.:) It will take attention away from the UGLY DUCKLING FCP.

What about Dundas station ? Are there any plans to upgrade it.

No Canadian city has more historic stations than the European cities but they have integrated historic stations with modern infrastructure to strike a balance between the past and the future. Again a perfect excuse by our govt(s) not to invest in modern technology.

Snow is Just an excuse. Frankfurt and many other european cities get snow too but their Stations have used a lots of Glass and Lightning. These are excuses by our govt(s), not to give enough money to TO so that they can buy votes elsewhere.
