    Although Bravo hasn't released their prices yet the newsletter I got from them has units starting in the 300's. Pemberton is usually pretty good on their pricing too. I was in the Gibson sales office a few weeks ago and although there was a lot of people, there was no one buying.

    To be perfectly honest, renting has crossed my mind. I am in the boat of believers that a correction is due. I don't think a collapse is going to happen, but a mild correction is what I think will happen. At the very least when Interest rates go up, HST kicks in and more inventory come online...

    government was smart enough to recognize that 40year mortgages with 0% down was probably not a good idea but I don't think having record low interest rates makes it any better.

    there was a unit listed at $250K to encourage traffic, it then got relisted at $400K about 10days later. Guess the bidding war didn't get as high as the buyer had hoped.

    The early talk I've heard is Blue Rodeo was going to be the headliner for the show. They are currently promoting their new CD. That being said I'm a bit doubtful on that as in the past it's been very difficult to attract a big name to do the show.

    As mentioned that pricing is insane. Most of the buildings in the area are going for $400-450 (parking included) which is more in line of values. You can get a 1 bedroom + den for about $285K around finch right now. Direct access to the subway can't possibly push values up THAT much.

    They did it with Reve also. After opening weekend each unit went up by about $12K I think the towns are a bit pricey now that they have been upped to $400K. You can get a freehold bungalow around Kennedy/Sheppard for the same price. The prices are still decent for Solaris/Ventus.

    I can confirm NYE show is staying at Nathan Philips Square. No chance it would move as they are worried CTV would jump in. Also management has informed staff that the City TV sign that is supposed to go on the torch? Will be installed in the spring which will be followed by the ticker...
