I was talkin to someone at the Freed sales centre and they mentioned this building will be ready for occupancy before 550 Wellington. I was a bit surprised because 550 seems so much futhur along. I guess it has to do with the relative sizes.

He has something like 5 projects in development/construction in that area with each design more seemingly more inspired than the next. He has obviously shown a commitment to the neighbourhood and has taken it upon himself to at least attempt to do something more than the omnipresent glass boxes...

$37,500 for a parking space?! Is that the going rate these days? For some reason I find that shocking. Thats 25% over all the freed buildings which also seemed shockingly high when they were announced. Maybe I'm just cheap.

Dean & Deluca I may have missed this earlier in the thread, but it looks like the hotel is going to have a Dean & Deluca. I used to go there to grab a good soup and coffee when I lived in NYC. I'm pretty excited about this....a nice change from Starbucks and that crusty Kitchen Table on King...
