Interesting, I also see that the AMC dropped down from 30 screens to 24 between the renderings above. In that last rendering... interesting mix... both actual tenants and theoretical tenants? Or was the complex going to be called the "Panasonic centre"? EDIT: Ugh those God awful fans.

Was walking by and noticed yesterday that the Goodlife Fitness (formerly Extreme Fitness) has shut down?! Are there plans for something to replace it or is it just vacant?

^Pretty sure that's going to be retail space behind it. All of the doors to the west Front Moat area have been opened already (... unless that one that Amano had blocked off with additional temporary signage is still blocked.... can't recall)

For clarity: BEST is the building currently undergoing interior demolition, which will be fully demolished for phase 1. BANTING is the occupied building that is currently intact.

^ that construction is actually for the development next door (townhome with laneway housing). I think they are using the backyard/parking area of this parcel just for construction trailer and storage etc. This development will probably start after the one next door is finished.

I've never liked the Bloor side signage. They have a large sign saying "Michael Lee-Chin Crystal" but only a tiny sign above the entrance saying "ROM". I get that he donated a lot of money, but I've had passers-by literally walk by the building and ask me where the ROM is. We need something...

In memoriam of all of the things that are losing funding for this, it should be called something else. ex. Ontario Libraries' Line, Ontario Education Line, Ontario Endangered Species Line.... The Ontario Broken Dreams Line.

Is there no longer a northwest pavilion planned? I believe they had initially planned to include a cafe located at the southeast one, but doesn't look like it any longer. I wonder why a pavilion is needed at all- why not just have an underground direct connection into the medical sciences...
