oh good God. They need to stop approving until infrastructure to support something like this is in place. Caledon is just approving right, left, and centre, and then worrying about the roads after buildings get built.

Yes I experimented coming home via Rutherford one day this week. It definitely saved some time. There seems to be new daily congestion on highway 50 between the Major Mack/Coleraine and Countryside Drive intersections too.

So after a couple of days of using the 427 extension... my observations: the Bolton truck traffic makes starting & ending at Major Mac. pretty miserable if you are using the highway 50 route. SB highway 50 has a single left turn lane onto Major Mac, and truck traffic piles up during rush hour...

How many extra stations are currently planned for UP? I saw in a photo here they are building a platform where the line meets the Eglinton Crosstown. Are they going to remove a station elsewhere, like Weston? If they add too many stations they should really take the "Express" part out of the...

Agreed. Brampton driving is terrible. If there is an accident on the 410, it takes forever to navigate local roads to get around it. I don't know why they didn't build service roads along the 410.
