    Toronto The Uptown Residences | ?m | 48s | Pemberton | Burka

Nic Pics. It looks like they are on the 28th or 29th floor....19 or 20 more floors to go. It is shaping up to match the "model" they have in their sales office....as expected.

    Toronto CrystalBlu Condos | ?m | 36s | Bazis | Burka

I would hate parking in this building especially if you are more than 3 levels below. I parked at a similarly skinny building and boy are the corners tight.

This is from the model at their Sales office on how the precast would look on completion..

    Toronto Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto | 207.86m | 53s | Graywood | Kohn Pedersen Fox

Besides the brand name "Ritz Carlton", what is "distinct" about this building architecture compared to the ones built or being built at Concord Cityplace ??

    Toronto CrystalBlu Condos | ?m | 36s | Bazis | Burka

Are they using the same precast design on the sides ? I see a number of people not in favor of the precast so what makes a good precast ?? What are the alternatives ? 1 St Thomas uses precast...is this the best in Toronto so far ?

    Toronto The Uptown Residences | ?m | 48s | Pemberton | Burka

Who knows...in a few years time these projects will come back. We are just in the slow part of the cycle. Better times far ahead will come eventually as buyers slowly flow back into the market (credit is key). This area is one of the best locations in the city.

This is one of the more fortunate projects that is still ongoing as others in this area are being canned. Crystal Blu is also lucky esp with the financing issues Bazis is going through. btw, how is the value holding up in this area esp for Uptown Residences ?? Any buyers here ?

Thanks for the pics. It would be interesting to see how the precast would actually look once they start putting it on. Is the 6th floor where the amenities and patio will be located ? With Blu's smaller footprint, it is rising faster.

Thanks for the pics ! Hey..is the precast they are using here the same as their Park Lake Residences ?

Toronto Festival Tower and tiff Bell Lightbox | 156.96m | 42s | Daniels | KPMB

oh boy...hopefully they won't run out of money to finish this expensive project. I wonder if this part of King Street will become a no parking zone.

    Toronto The Uptown Residences | ?m | 48s | Pemberton | Burka

If someone can post a pic of the latest install of the "precast" unless this white/creamy slab is what goes behind the granite. I wonder if they are using the same material as One St. Thomas condo for the precast (or a low end version). If Pemberton cheaps out on this relative to how it should...

hmm...It would be interesting to see how Balmuto would look like once everything has been built especially with the artscape (?) that will be created as per contribution from both builders.

    Toronto The Uptown Residences | ?m | 48s | Pemberton | Burka

Hey, Crystal Blu seems to be rising faster than the Uptown. I guess because of the smaller footprint. Also, looking at the area of the parking lot floors...it seems to be very tight when turning corners at Crystal Blu so imagine driving up or down the floors in a relatively short distance...

    Toronto Charlie Condos | 122.83m | 36s | Great Gulf | Diamond Schmitt

I wonder how much of the folks buying into this project are investors ? For their previous building which was the Hudson, I believe it was mostly owners. I remember the Cityplace condos having a very high percentage of investors so when it's time to flip you have a lot of competitors.

Thanks da_toronto_geek On the latest pics, that rental (?) building on the left really looks ugly. They better coordinate those 2 cranes in terms of which way it swings as the buildings start to go up. btw, who owns the space where the sales office of Uptown was or is situated ?
