Yes, the replacement will be finished first people will move over afterward. Then the brown building will be taken down and tower 1 will be built. According to Monica, tower 1 should begin by next summer.

The layout of the unit is indeed excellent. But I think due to the fact that the east view is blocked by the rental tower (except 17+ floors) is the deal breaker for quite a few buyers.

Yup, I heard about Monica talking about that back then. It is common for existing towers to get a face life to make them blend well with new towers, just like the yellowish brown Daniel towers next to Bayview Village, rental towers next to them were renovated when new towers were built.

What I am thinking is that if they change the layout, would it affect the overall size of the unit and whether I can keep my current price per sq ft. If I can't, then it is just another way of raising the price which I believe is not fair to me.

Nobody contact me for the change, I think I need to go down to the sales office in person to talk to them. And if they really do make the changes, how are they going to deal with the price difference? I hope the change will only be a good one.:confused:

Thank you so much for your comments Solaris. I myself in fact is one of those people afraid of floating balcony because I am afraid of height, I feel that balcony attached to a concrete wall is much safer. That's why the floor I picked is just a bit over 5th floor :P
