Well, I suppose simply no mullions and better, not-so-green glass. As I said, it could have been great, but the finishings were lame.

I think the mullions and glass ruined what could have been a spectacular building.

Most units are bought by foreign buyers and then rented out to locals who would otherwise have probably found housing much further north had it not been for a slew of affordable rent downtown.

It's amazing to think that they could have just as easily re-clad it a completely different colour and changed the skyline dramatically.

Judging from the RBC Centre's night-time illumination, I can only imagine that Ritz would follow suit; they were designed by the same firm after all and maintain many similar themes throughout.

Great curves to this building. It's refreshing to see something other than hard, right angles.

^It's the wooden hoarding that covers the top three or so floors of any skyscraper under construction to protect the workers inside from the outside elements, namely the weather.

I'd say more Art Deco than anything.
