I think my AC just broke. It's been on all night, not getting any colder and the air coming out is warm. Anyone else having A/C issues? Who do we call on a long weekend for this?

Oh I had the entire tub ripped out and a shower put in.

The shower was $3000! Now everytime I turn on the shower I get sprayed with cold water.

Also if anyone needs blinds let me know. I can put you in touch with a family friend. He did my entire place for $1300 for vertical blinds, should be cheaper then anyone else out there.

Did anyone here upgrade to the shower? If so does your shower have a toe? (the piece you commonly find in bath/shower that fills up the tub). Also, checked out the pool, the place looks complete. Just needs a cleaning and some water. Can't imagine it taking any more than 6 weeks to open?

There is a handyman specifically hired to fix basic things. He's already been here twice.

I had my PDI last week. The majority of issues were tiny chips in the cupboards and paint issues. I had a cracked window that was glued back together lol and 2 scratches on the floor and mirror. We marked all of these and they will get fixed eventually, but didn't really care about when. The...

Good to know property tax is only about $230 a month (I think we have the same unit just in the different buildings).

I bought in Sept 2007. I've just seen them listed places for over $400/sq ft and the other buildings have increased pricing as well.

From what I've seen, our condos have already appreciated at minimum $25k. It's a no brainer that the biggest ROI is where we are. The Yonge side has already reached its maximum value IMO. Any increase is simply due to market trends/inflation, which we will benefit from as well.

FYI, the Spadina subway extension is well under way. Ready in 2014 right now.
