    Toronto 1 Yorkville | 183.18m | 58s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

Even keeping the the vertical elements flush with the building, and getting rid of cantilevering the tower on top the podium could've simplified it enough to make it less of an issue. Not a good solution, but wouldn't have made it stand out as much perhaps.

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

It looks little off with only one side of the building's crowns lite up. If the design was to create an illusion of two adjacent towers, the lighting of one side only fails to reflect that at night. Maybe there's more coming, but the height at the lower portion of the crown, even of lit would...

    Toronto Park Hyatt Renovation | 62.48m | 18s | Oxford Properties | KPMB

They really need to widen the sidewalks of Avenue Road, From Bloor all the way up to St. Claire. The pedestrian experience over there is abysmal. With this renovation, it would be great to allow for a driveway, benches and greenery in front of the Hyatt and across the street along the Church...

    Toronto 49 Jackes | 70.35m | 19s | Lifetime | Turner Fleischer

Hot Mess! Some times less is more, but clearly not in this case. There are way too many architectural design elements in this building that none of them ends up standing out. That slanted roofline on the crown is the cherry on top. Hopefully they over-designed this, knowing that many of its...

    Toronto Wellesley on the Park | 194.15m | 60s | Lanterra | KPMB

Passed by the other day, and it seems like they've started on some of the structural work and hard landscaping.

    Toronto U of T: University of Toronto Schools | 20.42m | 3s | Diamond Schmitt

It's a shame this structure will covered by one massive wall and not window or curtain wall! Something similar to the Goldring UofT gym.

Toronto The James at Scrivener Square | 88.21m | 23s | Tricon | COBE Architects

Sure it It can :) it's just one person's opinion. You can also take that "only" with a grain of salt, a sense of humour, and a the tiny hint of sarcasm it was intended with.

Toronto The James at Scrivener Square | 88.21m | 23s | Tricon | COBE Architects

It seems like the building will surround it, and not build over it (built on the lots east and north of it). Its a great design but the massing, and footprint specifically, can only be described as obnoxious.

    Toronto Ace Hotel Toronto | 44.8m | 13s | Carbon Hospitality | Shim-Sutcliffe

Such a shame to value engineer only the top max 5% of the buildings exterior. But I agree, a darker coat of paint might save this. Here's to hoping!
