Very very impressive! Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it still manages to exceed all expectations!

This is giving major Mirvish Village vibes. Not that's a bad thing, just hopefully the cladding can be a little more elevated to support the location/pricing.

This was a sleeper. Even after a few panels, it's already a standout in a sea of grey dull entrainment district condo towers. Shows what great cladding can do. Ey! Nobu, are you watching this??

One of the biggest issue this same developer has with U Condos is the elevators. I know several people who moved out because of how painful it was to get one. Especially when one of them had a technical issue that wasn't resolved for months, and another gets used for moving. It was/still is...

It's that faux brown marble panelling at grade that gets me (in addition to the Cinder block of course), how did they think this was a good idea, even as a single panel sample, it's hideous.

Taken a couple of weeks back, but it's looking really sharp in person. Unfortunately I was driving by, couldn't get more shots.

It's certainly a good attempt to be commended. I just wish they added just ONE more colour, maybe some red brick, just break the 50 shades of grey (and white). Would've really made it standout.

Funny how these brown boxes changed the entire building for me. It was an ok glass box before, still is, but these boxes tie it back somehow to the structure it's growing out of.

I will try on my next walk in the area :) I'm limited to my iPhone though which gets grainy from a further distance.

While I have my reservations about the massing of new elements and the covered driveway, entrance. This reno is all about quality materials. A few close-ups from the last few days. Notice a cladding had a grain to it.

I walked by yesterday, and my first thought seeing only the tuna can cladding on the Bloor side was: "I can't wait to see all the hate this must be getting right now on UT" Turns out you've all been playing nice... or completely given up! 🤣

I can't wait to share my Nobu sushi platter with the neighbours across the street. Real "communal dining" experience.
