    Leslieville / Studio District

Does anybody have a recommendation for a place that has good bagels in Leslieville/Riverside? With all the great food options in the area I have found this is one thing I wish was nearby. I know there's Bagel Time on Danforth but I'm wondering if there's anything on Queen East or Gerrard?

    407 Transitway

I think more importantly is that by having it's own designated ROW it allows for more free flow of buses from stations. Rather than needing to make several turns to get to a station and back on the highway, having its own dedicated ROW allows for it to drop off and pick up passengers much more...

    Toronto Bike Share

I'm also disappointed that the east isn't getting at least 1 or 2 more this year. The Riverside/Leslieville stations are almost always completely full during the evening rush hour. There's a noticeable hole in the map around Dundas/Carlaw/Gerrard that I'm sure many of the condo owners and gym...

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

I swear I've seen those lights at King and Cherry/Sumach heading east. I'll try and take a picture next time I go by.

    407 Transitway

This is very accurate. In this location it's likely that the EA was completed so that the corridor can be protected. In years to come there will be more and more development pressures put on the corridor and so being able to protect for areas around stations or for developments to incorporate...

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

That's exciting. Interesting that there hasn't been a press release about the expansion yet. Probably likely because of the change of government, last years announcement was from all 3 levels of government. Good to see the expansion occurring regardless.

    1657 Bathurst Street (Circa, 3s, ?) COMPLETE

Small scale multi unit building. 1000 more of these please.

    West Don Lands

I've walked by it. The Liquor license application is in the windows of this unit at the corner of Front Street and Tannery Road. Good space for a patio as well.

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

More funding for cycling announced by the Provincial Government. $25 million marked for Toronto. https://news.ontario.ca/mto/en/2017/12/ontario-municipal-commuter-cycling-program-omcc-recipients.html

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

The more I watch the traffic on King Street and see how few cars there are, the more I think that a large contributor to the early success of the pilot project is the use of GPS. With Google Maps immediately updating the new traffic rules anyone relying on GPS to get around is avoiding King...

    Regent Park

Looks like the shop that opened up in the One Park Place building between Wendy's and Shopper's is a barber shop. Seems very minimalist, I think it's called 611 but that also might just be the address of the building. Regent Park Boulevard is getting a Tim Horton's beside the Subway.

    Toronto Bauhaus Condos | 110.9m | 32s | Lamb Dev Corp | a—A

I know the existing building on the property has a driveway (maybe two?) but with the proposed King Street Transit Pilot Project the city should not be approving any new developments that maintain or add driveways or parking entrances on King. Yes, in its current form the pilot project doesn't...

Regent Park: Block 17N (TCHC, 12s, Wallman Architects) COMPLETE

Excavation for this building began last week. Trucks were lined up along Dundas St. E. this morning as well.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

I agree. Capping benefits every transit user. I used to be a metropass user even though I rarely used the 45 trips a month to get my money's worth, I use TTC to commute most days but there are always a couple days a month where I don't. For me the metropass was convenient so I didn't have to...

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

Sherbourne to River on Shuter is unrideable and almost undriveable given the current state of the pavement. It's become more obvious now that River is finally repaved.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

So left hand turns going west to south will still be allowed at King and Jarvis? Seems like that will slow down streetcars before entering the pilot area. Source...

    Regent Park

I noticed there's a sign up in the empty storefront of One Park Place. Between Shopper's and Wendy's. It has a Fishing Lure and says "The Shop Coming Soon" Anyone have any idea what it is? Also, the space currently doesn't have an entrance facing Dundas, although I'm sure that can be easily...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

The Richmond lights are a good thing, but lights at Simcoe/Queen and Simcoe/Dundas as well would essentially extend the Simcoe St. bike lanes to College (with a few jogs north of Dundas)

    Hamilton Hamilton Line B LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

It appears the grade separation starts at Gage Avenue and Extends to Glendale, that's a distant of 300+m if they aren't fully grade separating the roadway at the very least there should be a pedestrian crossing associated with the grade separation or that will really cut off the north and south...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

It looks like they've begun construction of elevators at St. Patrick Station to improve accessibility. Are there any plans available for this work? There's hoarding up on the median on University just north of Dundas and this morning there was a small backhoe. Is that where they're adding the...
