Musée (Plazacorp) - Real Estate -

That was what I was told a month and a half ago. I'm guessing it should be almost 60% by now as this condo is the best value in the area and they had some sales promotions. As for the Public Storage building site, I don't know how much they are selling that property for. Until they get a buyer...

Musée (Plazacorp) - Real Estate -

yes, the demolition and now drilling are for the Oneeleven development which will be in full construction mode very soon. Sales at Musée has been slow and according to one of the agents there they haven't quite reached 50% in sales. So the sales centre should be around for a little while and...

Toronto Quartz at Concord CityPlace | 131.97m | 41s | Concord Adex | RAW Design

That north façade of precast panels with punched window openings is refreshing. Too bad we don't see more of this.

    Toronto Fashion House | ?m | 12s | Freed | Core Architects

I'm really in support of developments who try to mandate the kind of window coverings on their buildings and even provide such coverings. Almost all condos have a rule of some kind of white window coverings but you will see a mess of various window coverings such as cheap plastic vertical...

    Toronto Garrison Point | 118.56m | 35s | Cityzen | Hariri Pontarini

It's a very well designed development. Yes, it's located just adjacent to the trainwreck of a community which is the unfortunate suburban island within downtown Toronto but based on some of the marketing material the developers are making a stride in differentiating it and making it a much...

    Toronto Waterlink at Pier 27 | 43.89m | 14s | Cityzen | a—A

The pale seafoam green is not my choice, but it's not that bad. At least it's not teal like at Trump. Looks like aA is using the same curtain wall clips for some kind of exterior architectural wall treatment as at Theatre Park.

    Toronto Massey Tower Condos | 206.95m | 60s | MOD Developments | Hariri Pontarini

Just like any business, developers make money in what they do. Yes, it may seem greedy especially with the real estate boom we have been experiencing these past few years, but what they are doing is perfectly legal and any smart business person will exploit this situation as much as they can to...

Berczy Condos, The (Concert Properties) - Real Estate -

A Facebook Group page could be set up where it is a closed group only open to approved members. My condo has one and all posts and info could only by seen by condo residents. It has been very helpful and brings together residents who wouldn't normally know each other.

Berczy Condos, The (Concert Properties) - Real Estate -

I agree that it's really steep. If it's furnished I could see it being rented for almost $4000. The second bedroom, which most likely will be used as a den, is the only bedroom that doesn't have a window but the master bedroom does so I don't think it will be much of an issue.

    Toronto Trinity-Bellwoods Towns+Homes | ?m | 3s | Urban Capital | Richard Wengle

There may be some issues with the detailing and construction execution, but I like these townhouses as a whole. I think they look rather dark, hopefully as more people move in many of the those windows will have light-coloured window coverings to relieve the mass of dark gray brick and dark...

    Toronto Fly Condos | ?m | 24s | Empire | Graziani + Corazza

I was thinking the same thing. Looks so heavy and lifeless. The random spacing of the dark grey bands looks haphazard and thoughtless. The zipper façade is the only interesting part of the building.

    The Carlaw Urban Towns

Yes, it's a better value, but that's $230,000 more. A totally different price range. I agree that the price of the Urban Towns is a bit on the high size when houses in the area could sometimes be had in the $500,00 range though it will need some work. Back to the floor plan, it's nice with...

    Toronto Aura at College Park | 271.87m | 78s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

Are those two ladies watching the "20% off all the waxing" special being performed in that miniscule nail salon? Or is that chair outside the waiting area? I am not sure this Pacific Mall kiosk-sized shop concept will really work here. It may end up just like the Chinatown Centre which is...

    Markham 68 Main Street Condominiums | 42.3m | 6s | Sierra | FBP Architects

A very charming street façade and nice mix of window styles, but it would be much nicer if there was some variation of brick colours rather than have everything in the same two tone red and yellow brick. It's great to see the two residential floors over street level retail, it will contribute...

Park Towns Bayview Sheppard (Broccolini) - Real Estate -

The units were priced really well and there's only 50 units, so I'm guessing they were all quickly snapped up by insiders or during the VIP sales before it hit the public.

    Toronto DUKE Condos | 25.91m | 7s | TAS | BDP Quadrangle

or the not-so appealing "DooKie" (Dundas & Keele) The design looks really sharp and I really like the use of white brick and what looks to be some kind of black siding. Vaguely reminds me of B.streets.

    Toronto 170 Spadina | 46.94m | 12s | Plaza | BDP Quadrangle

About a month or two ago I saw some workers replacing some cabinets in the sales centre. I'm guessing they are reworking the suites or possibly rebranding the project.

House Value: Parking Space or Private Yard?

I would fence the backyard with a gated opening that is large enough for a car. A covered carport would also double as a covered patio or BBQ space if you don't need it for parking. Having off-street parking is a rarity in most parts of the city and will definitely add value, and having a fully...

Musée (Plazacorp) - Real Estate -

I was with a friend who is looking to buy in this neighbourhood. We looked here, next door at Oneeleven and some resales at Six50 King. Musee is definitely the price leader at more than $100/sf cheaper than Oneeleven and Six50 King, with parking included for 2- and 3-bedroom units, however I...

Monde Condominiums (Great Gulf Homes) - Real Estate -

I was looking at the southwest facing units in the higher floors of the tower a while back and was very shocked that they were in the $800/sq.ft. range given the barren state of the neighbourhood -- this was before Sugar Beach and Sherbourne Common was built. I was more concerned about getting a...
